This project went well overall. Installation was on time and cost was as promised. The crew was professional from start to finish with the exception of one worker bee who seemed to want to take the easy way out where ever possible.
The original plan to run most of the fluid lines / electrical into the attic at the edge of the house did not work out due to obstructions. This was a disappointment, however, the vendor used sheet metal to cover everything up where it had to run across the porch area on the ceiling. The end result was an acceptable solution and no additional cost was incurred for the change.
I did have to manage where the thermostat wire run was installed upstairs. The person working on this item wanted to take the easy way out and do a surface run through a bedroom closet and then into a wall. With a little encouragement they investigated and and quot;discoveredand quot; that there was a path to place the run in the attic. There was a similar situation with part of the electrical run to the house outside [unrelated to the item in the paragraph above]. In short, the worker bees seemed to look for a few short cuts that were not necessarily best practice.
In the end however, I was very satisfied and would use this vendor again. I would recommend keeping an eye on the execution and make sure the low level workers are not cutting any corners.

Ryan performed a furnace and fireplace inspection, and did some tune up work. He provided a written follow-up report and bid for additional work.

I thought the price was a little high for what they had to do. He really explained the problem well to me. I appreciated his professionalism.
