The Roof Service Tech called first that morning, to confirm the appointment and arrived on time. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and started trouble shooting right away. He found the leak from inside my attic, he also found a few other problem areas. He then went up on the roof to inspect all of the areas of concearn and made the repairs. He got all of the work done in little over 2 hours and the bill was a lot less than I expected. About a week later we had some rain in our area on two occasions, It rained pretty heavy at times. No more leaks, this guy (Patrick) was a pro and knew his kraft.

I do NOT normally write reviews. One exception would be when a service provider (contractor) is severely incompetent. A rarer exception would be when a service provider does a really exceptional service. This exceptional service is what my wife and I experienced recently by having our shingle roofing replaced by Tugwell Roofing Company of Anderson. We both noticed immediately, and throughout the re-roofing few days, that EVERY Tugwell employee, from the office staff to the everyone of the hard-working roofers, not only knew their job well; but, they performed their duties efficiently, energetically, knowledgably, and courteously! Our project turned out to be an exceptional experience AND our roof looks perfect for us and our neighbors as well. Good job, Tugwell!!

Tugwell Roofing is top notch! From the beginning to the end! David got the process started with an estimate and helped with picking out the perfect roof color. Cody had his crew in order and got the roof done. The workers cleaned everything up. Not a single nail to be found! Autumn was great with communication through the entire process. She called and gave nice updates on where I was on the schedule. If you need a roof, give Tugwell Roofing a call! You will be glad you did! Very professional from start to finish! Tugwell did a FABULOUS job with my roofing project - tear-off of old roof and installation of a new roof (GAF "California Cool Roof" package). From start to finish, Tugwell's staff were knowledgeable, professional, courteous; explained what they were doing and answered my questions; were respectful of keeping my yard clean and minimizing disruptions to my household. They were punctual and well-prepared, and the coordination of their various staff/teams was impressive to witness. They finished the job quickly and on time, and their work passed inspection by the City of Redding inspector on the first pass. I highly recommend Tugwell - thanks for the great work.

Porch roof was leaking. Tugwell offered a good price. Saw other issues on my main roof that needed fixed and offered to fix them when they were doing the porch. Stripped the roof, repaired the underlayment, put on the new roof adding dams along the edges, and sealed it tight. It has already rained and NO LEAKS!!! :) They cleaned after themselves every day. You could hardly tell that they were there. They were open to my questions, and I had a lot of them. Only issues were they were late on the first day. So late that I had to call them to find out if they were still coming. They called later to tell me that they would be late. The other issue was that I did not know when they project was done, so I kept unlocking my gates on days that they were not really there. I had to call to check on that. Other than that, they were a great company to work with!

Had the job scheduled for a certain date and then got a call that they'd like to start a couple of days earlier, which was OK with me. Job finished in just a couple of days. They cleaned up the debris each day. A Tugwell rep. came out to inspect the employees job afterwards and then made a minor repair to what an outside contractor had made to my A/C on the roof. Even had a person pull in the driveway and get a business card from him. The person stated he had never seen a job go so quick. Was more expensive than I expected, but the last time I had the roof done was 27 years ago and I tended to think of the cost back then.

We were very pleased with the entire experience. Dan Hunter, Sales Manager, came to the house and did a very thorough inspection, from the ground and on the roof. He then walked me around the house pointing out issues, after which he showed me a narrated video he had taken on top of my roof, with his ipad, discussing its condition. I was impressed. Dan did an excellent job explaining the different products, the process and options. He gave me literature and brochures and a couple different proposals, with options, for me to consider. Once we settled on a proposal, Guy Walfoort, Project Manager, contacted me to set a start date and explained the project in detail. The various crews that came out to do their jobs, were polite and professional. They worked hard, seemed to know what they were doing and worked well together. The job site was cleaned up every day, before they left. Guy kept me informed as to what was going on during the job and any issues that came up. We are very happy with our new roof. Dan Hunter, Guy Walfoort, and Office Manager, Cassie Blake and the other Tugwell employees we interacted with, were professional, friendly and helpful. Tugwell wasn't the lowest bidder, but they were competitive and gave good value for our money. They did an excellent job on our roof and we highly recommend them for your roofing needs.

The new roof looks beautiful! We weren't scheduled until after the new year, but they worked us in in December during good weather. The estimate was very close to actual invoice. The crew was very respectful and cleaned up daily.

Our house is a 3,400 sq. ft., 2-story modern Victorian, so the roof is very steep and complicated by slanted dormers, flat-topped bays and towers on the wrap-around porch. The outcome was fantastic! The price was reasonable considering the size of the job, and well worth the cost. Crews came every day, arrived on time and worked at a steady pace. There was a project manager always available for questions, concerns or to solve technical problems as they arose. All of the workers were respectful, hard working and made us feel like our satisfaction was important to them. On the last day, the General Manager also came out and did a final inspection. He had his men do several little "touch-up" things, like repainting a vent that didn't meet his standards. There was one minor pricing confusion that came up at the end of the job and the General Manager sat down with us to discuss and agree on a fair resolution. I would highly recommend Tugwell Roofing to anyone. They are very professional and deserve their good reputation. There may be cheaper roofing companies out there, and we used one for our original roof, but it is well worth the money to have reliable, guaranteed work done by a company that cares about their customers and their employees. The project manager watched to make sure his workers were using proper safety procedures and were taking their breaks (it was very hot!) We were impressed by the positive feedback from the employees about their company.

The start was delayed due to rain. Some scheduling conflicts delayed it twice more. When the job did get started it went very well. It took three and one half days and the site was always left clean in the afternoon. The finished roof looks great!
