James showed up when he said he would (same day as my call) to give me a quote for several plumbing projects. He discovered the shower faucet cartridge was stuck. He was honest and upfront in letting me know the cartridge replacement could require some more extensive work and costs (including breaking out shower tiles and/or exterior wall and stucco) if it couldn't be removed without damaging the valve. He gave me a cost for both options. I was leaving town so told him I would schedule all projects for a later date. When the shower faucet started leaking profusely I called James and he kindly added me to his very busy schedule for the next day. James and one of his crew showed up on time as promised and he again warned me that the project could require additional time, work and cost but that he would do his best. I am jaded enough to expect to hear that the bigger job would be needed but they were able to get the cartridge out and replaced in no time! Additionally, I had taken a refrigerator out of the house the night before and the water line could not be shut off so I had to turn the main water off. James kindly crimped the line for me at no charge. He also answered a bunch of questions about a variety of other items that I wasn't sure if I should ask a plumber, gas line person, hvac person, or what. He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and all the things you wish for in a contractor. I highly recommend James, his crew and West Coast Plumbing and will hopefully get him back soon to complete our plumbing projects.

It went very well. John Neu left Robert here to dig up two feet of grass to find where the break was. They were super nice and very professional and the price was really very fair. Will call them again if I ever need a plumber.

He was detail oriented and I did not feel like I was being sold things I didn’t need. I wish I had known about West Coast Plumbing years ago. I’d recommend them to all my friends and family.

James came out in about 30 minutes and had the whole job done in under an hour. Very fair pricing as well. I highly recommend these guys!

James and his staff have always been extremely professional they have never charged me for work that's not absolutely necessary and have even gone above and beyond to not only try and save me money but make sure that once they're done doing their job that the area they worked in is usually left cleaner than when they arrived. I have always been able to get ahold of James even on weekends or late in the evening. I actually came home late one evening to my garage flooded from my water heater breaking was able to call James and he came out within an hour to replace the part that broke which he had on his truck so I was able to have hot water the next day.
