I'm in California and there's a drought so we don't need to water that much. I plan on discontinuing their use. They do a good job. I'm not unhappy with their services. They're always punctual.

Not long after I signed up for their service, someone asked if they could stop by and inspect landscaping.  When finished I was asked to sign-up for  $350.00 treatment, that would be good for a year and would get rid of aphids and other insects that might harm my plants. 
Seeing this as part of an overall plan to solicit more $, I decided to pass and let them continue with serviceing the lawns. 
After several months, some improvement was noticeable after they the usual treatments, however the grass in several areas began to slowly get worse.  Though I had been told several months earlier the areas were specially treated, no improvement was noticeable.
Finally, I contacted TruGreen and requested ( a week in advance) that someone from TruGreen meet me at my home on Wednesday afternoon so I could review in person the concerns I was having.
The day before (Tuesday), I got home and noticed a voice-mail message on my phone from TruGreen telling me that "someone would be out Wednesday to treat my lawns".  I immediate called TruGreen and advised that someone was to meet me at my home Wednesday after 3:30PM. That this had been arrange a week prior and I was assured someone would be there.
I was told that the message I received was just a "canned message" and that she could see in the computer that someone was to meet me after 3:30PM the next day.
On Wednesday, as I pulled into my driveway I noticed the TruGreen flags sticking in my lawns that told me that someone had already been there to treat my lawns.
I immediate went inside and called TruGreen and was told that someone had treated my lawns earlier that day.
I asked her to read the notes advising that someone was to meet me at my house.
She verified the message, but said that it was too late (3:30PM), and that "there was no one that could come out that day".
I told her that it was apparent that TruGreen had no interest in, or understaniding of "Customer Service", and that their service was terminated effective immediately.

I have been using them for two years now and they come on time. Lately, I have not been too happy with them but I should not complain really because we cannot water that much now anymore because we have a shortage in California, so my grass in some areas does not look like it should. My interactions with them have been good and I prepay them but I have nothing to compare their price against. I think that they are a little pricey but I never checked any other ones. Their price is worth it for the work that they do and the quality of their work is good.

They are a national company and my experience with them has been very positive. They take my lawn and miraculously make it thick and lushing green. I have just signed up a contract with them for patching, fertilizing, weed care and analysis of the soil. They come out six times. I have not shopped around and I am surprised that they are this low priced.

They put down fertilizers and weed killer.  They also suggest other treatments that we have not done like pulling plugs out of the lawn area, I don’t see any reason for that.  Plugging actually gives more space for water to go in and for the fertilizer to go in and thins the lawn out.  But I don’t see any reason for doing that since the lawn looks fabulous as it is.  If we have any problems with more weeds coming out they will come out again.  I have any one to compare them with because we have not used anyone else no matter which house we lived in.  They come on their schedule.  I would use them in the future.

There are still some weed issues but it is better than it was.

I feel my lawn looks better than it did before I started using them, but I consider my overall experience with them as being mediocre. I have had to fuss with them to make them come back out and re-spray since I still have a weed problem. It is better now, but no where near being solved.

THEY WILL CALL ME AHEAD OF TIME TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO COME OUT. MY LAWNS HAVE BEEN KEPT IN GOOD SHAPE AND FREE OF OXALIS WHICH IS VERY HARD TO GET RID OF.

ALWAYS VERY FRIENDLY AND PROMPT. THEY DO A GREAT JOB INFORMING ME ON WHAT TO DO IN ORDER TO KEEP MY GRASS LOOKING GOOD AND HEALTHY. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE.

I STARTED OFF WITH THEM FROM A PHONE SOLICITATION. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND THEY ALWAYS FOLLOW OUT THROUGH WITH WHAT THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO. ONE PERSON COMES OUT TO DO IT.

THEY'RE EXCELLENT. WHEN THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD BE OUT, THEY WERE OUT. WHEN THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD TREAT THE BROWN SPOTS, THEY DID AND BROUGHT THE GRASS BACK TO GREEN. THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE IN COMPARISON TO OTHER COMPANIES.

THEY CALL AND GIVE ME RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT WHEN I SHOULD HAVE FOLLOW UP WORK PERFORMED ON MY LAWN, WHICH IS VERY NICE. SOMETHING THAT I DO NOT LIKE IS THAT THEY CONSTANTLY CALL TO VERIFY THEIR APPOINTMENTS OVER AND OVER, BUT I GUESS IT'S BETTER TO CALL TOO MUCH THAN NOT AT ALL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY. THEY DO A GOOD JOB.

WITHIN THREE WEEKS OF THEIR SERVICE, OUR LAWN WAS LOOKING NOTICEABLY IMPROVED AND VERY GREEN. THE ADVICE FOR UPKEEP WAS VERY INFORMATIONAL AND HELPFUL.

THEY COME EVERY TIME THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO. THEY DO THE WORK THAT THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO, AND I HAVE NO PROBLEMS. I DON'T HAVE TO CALL AND SAY IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD.

I HAVE USED THEM FOR OVER TEN YEARS. I JUST LIKE THEIR SERVICE. I HAVE NEVER HAD PROBLEMS. EVERYTHING IS GOOD, I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. THEIR PRODUCT IS GOOD.

THEY RUINED MY LAWN. MY LAWN WAS ONLY THREE YEARS OLD AND I HAVE TO REMOVE IT AND REPLACE IT AND IT WAS ENTIRELY COVERED IN WEEDS. THEY KILLED THE GRASS WHICH ENABLED NEW WEEDS TO COME UP. THEY WERE ARGUMENTATIVE AND FULL OF EXCUSES.

THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN EXCELLENT. THEY HAVE RETURNED MY PHONE CALLS IN A DAY. THEY SEND OUT RESPONSE BY PHONE OR BY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL.

THE FIRST TIME THEY CAME OUT THEY PUT ON TWO TREATMENTS. I CAN CALL THEM ANY TIME IF I'M NOT SATISFIED WITH THE WAY THE WAY THE YARD LOOKS I THINK IT'S EXPENSIVE BUT IT'S WORTH IT COMPARED TO WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE BEFORE. IT LOOKS AMAZING NOW.

SOMETIMES THEY CALLED, AND SOMETIMES THEY DIDN'T CALL BEFORE THEY CAME OVER. SOMETIMES THEY WILL COME AT 7:30 AM WHEN I AM IN MY BATHROBE. THEY HAVE GOOD QUALITY, AND THEY GET THE JOB DONE.

THEY DO A GOOD JOB. THEY SHOW UP WHEN THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO, AND THEY DO THE APPLICATION AND THE SERVICE THAT YOU ASK THEM TO DO. WHEN I HAD MY DOG, THEY DID A GOOD JOB OF MAKING SURE HE STAYED IN THE BACKYARD. THEY WERE RESPECTFUL TO MY PET.

EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THERE WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING ON THE TREATMENT. ON THE LAST TREATMENT I HAD, I ENDED UP PAYING FOR TWO TREATMENTS. HE WAS MISSING SOME OF THE MATERIALS HE NEEDED AND CAME BACK TO FINISH THE TREATMENT. I PAID $82 FOR WHAT I THOUGHT WAS ONE TREATMENT. THEY'RE VERY RESPECTFUL, NOT BOLD IN THEIR APPROACH, AND THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL.
