SUPERIOR TREE CARE

Horrible to do business with. I HAD been using this service for 8 years to have my palm trees and ficus trees trimmed on an annual basis. Cost of service went from $800 originally to $2500 in 3 years. I will NEVER use this service again.

Jesus, Ramiro, and Rojas and crew arrived on time at 8 a.m.  They were efficient, courteous, and cleaned up afterward.  I live on a one way street, and the crew had to work in a relatively small area.  The crew was courteous to my neighbors, and immediately moved their trucks away from their driveways, when needed.  My main water line ran parallel to the tree, so Jesus worked very carefully and cautiously with the stump grinder.  The palm trees were also trimmed very nicely.  Irma gave me a $25 dollar discount because I was an Angie's List member.  I recommend them and would hire them again.  I noticed Superior Tree Care uses an answering service, so I recommend customers are very diligent and specific when leaving messages.

They do good work, they clean up after themselves. They don't just hack at the trees and they know what the tree is going to look like next year. They do what you ask them.

We have used this company several times in the past and had been pleased
with their work. In July 2012 they trimmed 11 palm tress and a large
tree on our neighbor's property which was growing over onto our
property. They arrived on time and the 2 men worked the entire day with
no goofing off. They did an excellent clean up.
The original quote was around $1250 but one of the trees which was
include in the quote was not trimmed since it was the wrong time of the
year per the workers. A deduction was made to our bill with no problem.
We will be calling this company again for future work.

We got 3 quotes, and Superior's price was the best. They did a very good job all around - they were on time to look at the job and give us a quote, they were careful not to damage the driveway when they did the trimming, and they cleaned up very nicely.

They arrived promptly, both to give the estimate and to begin work. They came prepared for the job and did a great job trimming the trees and cleaning up afterward. I really appreciated that they were very flexible and complied with my specific trimming requests. They went above and beyond what was expected. I've used them in the past (2 years ago), and they continue to do an outstanding job. I recommended Superior to my neighbors, and two of them have already used them.

First, the estimator was on time and provided a complete quote and answered all of my questions. Expect 1.5 days for the project. We selected them to execute the project. The crew of four arrived on time with all of the professional tools needed. The were careful not to damage other smaller, nearby trees, the above ground sprinkler heads, the chainlink fence near three trees and the electrical wires that ran through one tree. The crew hauled away all the debris and cleaned up the grounds afterward. And they repaired the one sprinler head the was damaged. They did exactly what they quoted and what we expected.

The cheerful estimator arrived Saturday on time and gave us a discount because he needed the work. He seemed fairly knowledgeable, but he did pressure us to use his company. However, the results were pretty good. The polite crew arrived on time Tuesday and completed the job. They did NOT use climbing spikes, yeah!, but rather used ropes and pulleys to climb the 5 eucalyptus trees they trimmed. They scrambled up the sturdy magnolia without ropes. Also, they did NOT make the final cuts with a chain saw but rather used pole clippers, yeah!. They removed the 3 eucalyptus using an aerial lift via a power co. access road behind our house, yeah!. Please note that they did cut off at least 80 percent of the leaves on the trees, although the remaining tree limbs are in a pleasing, "open" form. Now, I must write that I was a bit leery of using this company, since I discovered at the very last minute that the Contractors State License Board report for their License # 765846 also lists *another* License that was suspended for these very same people, under another company name, A and M Tree Service Corp., License # 767930, for failure to comply with three different items: an outstanding civil judgment, an outstanding bond payout, and a citation. I thought EEK! But all turned out okay. We might use this company again next time, but perhaps we might use a competitor whose estimate we also liked which checks out more cleanly on the CSLB and the BBB, and which has 2 ISA-certified arborists on staff.

All workers were efficient, polite, on time, and very professional. I felt that the tree trimming was artistically done rather than just hacking away at the tree as happened in the past with a previous tree service. The price was a good value, because the job was well done, in a timely manner. The total clean-up of branches and of the yard was excellent, too.

They did an outstanding job and followed through with excellent clean up. The crews were easy to deal with and very pleasant.

They were very nice on the phone when we called to set up the appointment. They arrived on time and the work only took a couple of hours. They were also able to work with us with the price.

They were very competitive in pricing I thought. They did do a good job. I have no complaints with them and I thought everything turned out just fine.

Contracted to remove a tree and roots from front yard. Showed up as scheduled to cut down tree, but took a full week to get them to come back and remove stump and roots, due to "broken stump grinder" and being "very busy." When they did come, they left without checking with me and still left a significant number of visible roots. After calling, they sent someone several days later to "finish" the job, but again, there were huge roots left behind that were visible to the naked eye. They were supposed to come a third time to remove the rest, but did not show up as scheduled.

They were timely, professional and did the job as quoted. I was a bit surprised when I inquired about trimming an additional tree and received a $300 price on site. This is the only reason I gave them a B in price.

They have a AAA rating by the Better Business Bureau and some of the others I got bids from did not. They took about 6 hours to do all the work. Had plenty of workers for the job. They cleaned up the side yard more than I thought they would for no extra charge. After I viewed the work they were doing, I asked they trim one of the ficus a bit more. They did no questions asked and no problems. The foreman was easy to communicate with. They were a little more expensive than other bids, but they do a quality job (didn't hack the trees) and that makes it worth it for me. They did a great job and I will continue to hire them for all of my annual tree trimming work.

IT'S PRETTY GOOD, THEY DID A GOOD JOB. A BIG PART OF IT IS SHOWING UP ON TIME AND CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES, AND THEY DID BOTH OF THOSE. THE TREES SEEMED TO ENJOY IT. WE'RE HAPPY AND WE'LL PROBABLY USE THEM AGAIN.

A VERY EFFICIENT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE COMPANY. TREES CAN BE SEVERELY HARMED OR EVEN KILLED IF THEY ARE TRIMMED TOO SEVERELY OR IMPROPERLY.. THE OWNERS OF THIS COMPANY WERE VERY HELPFUL IN THEIR SUGGESTIONS; AND THE WORKERS DID THEIR JOB EXPERTLY.
