WATCH OUT!!! THEY DO NOT HONOR WARRANTIES!!! We got them to do our entire house in the summer of 2013, well over $8k worth of curtains, I think. Since then, both of the motors in the giant 8 ft wide by 8 foot long powered shades we got have failed. Both are under 5 year warranties. The first one failed a little over two years ago. We called Shutter Heaven and they told us to call Somfy (the shade motor company). I was not happy about this, but at least Somfy ended up taking care of it. They sent a replacement motor and after going back and forth with them for a month to get missing parts, I managed to replace the motor myself. This was not an easy task and required two adults climbing up and down and fiddling with a cryptic remote control system. This is EXACTLY why I paid someone to install shades in the first place, but whatever. I let it slide once because it was kind of hard to get in touch with Shutter Heaven. This past month, however, the other motor has failed. This time, Somfy says to go through Shutter Heaven and Shutter Heaven says to just call Somfy. Shutter Heaven also wanted $75 just to come and eyeball it. I would be perfectly willing to just pay this, but then they make a bunch of excuses about how they're too busy and how maybe they won't be able to fix it. They also completely leave us hanging, saying they'd call us back to figure something out but that was over 2 weeks ago. This inspires little confidence in their work. There's no guarantee that this won't ratchet up into some crazy high bill and that they won't leave us hanging with a missing shade. It was frustrating enough for my wife to just go ahead and order a replacement motor with our own money. We are now in the midst of figuring out how to get it to work, as the new motor is slightly different than the old and will not just drop in. So we are back to another round of precariously climbing on stools and calling Somfy. I hate rating businesses poorly, but to me, a warranty is a warranty. With something installed in your house, that usually includes coming over to fix it. If my wife and I need to balance on stools and figure out these massive curtains for ourselves, then why did we pay these guys to install them in the first place?

Shutter Heaven is a family owned business, and it has been a delight to work with them.  Richard came out, measured our windows, and gave us a bid for window coverings. He was very knowledgeable with the products and made great suggestions on what would look good in our home.  He was friendly and his price was hard to beat.
Richard has sold shutters and other window coverings to several of our neighbors.  We were confident in his work and the craftsmanship of the shutters.  On top of that, he took us to see a home he had recently completed so we were able to view the work and talk to the owners before we ordered.  
In the time since my shades were installed, I had a warranty issue with one of them. I emailed the company and they addressed the problem immediately.  I would definitely recommend Shutter Heaven to anyone looking to upgrade his or her window coverings. Their prices and service are great.

Richard came to give us a quotation and recommend us on certain style and service need to be done for my new windows and doors. He gave us a huge discount compare to current quote from my current window company. I like the customer service whenever I call to ask questions. They called to remind and call before they came to my house. The installation was fast, they keep my house clean.  We are happy with the products and the service and specially the price.

They were excellent, communication was fantastic, They actually did our neighbors first so they came as a referal, after we saw what they did for our neighbors. They did a super job, beautiful shutters. Would definitely use them again.

We had Shutters installed by Shutter heaven recently and it was a great experience overall. Richard came out to our house and we got to see all the window coverings they offer (there were a lot) and they even had some full size shutters we could place by our windows to see how they would look. I found Richard to be knowledgeable in the product he had available and recognized many of the company names that he used.  We spent a lot of time going over the books and talked to Krystal in the office as well to get and idea of what would be best for our house.  We decided upon polywood shutters as per Richards recommendation as we have small children and wanted the durability and the easy cleanup and we were viewing this purchase as an investment on our home.  The shutter price was the best we had quoted (even better that some of the big stores you would expect to be cheaper)and we even looked up the shutter company they order from and they looked very high quality which was important to us as we did not have any intention of buying something cheap just to replace them a few years later.  The shutters came in in the time frame they said and were installed in our home a couple days later.  The office assistant called me to schedule the install with what worked for my and my husbands schedule.  The installation went smoothly and all the shutters were up in a few hours with just the finishing details left and the installer was friendly and professional.  I found the entire experience to be very positive.We are very happy with our choice and the overall experience and I even decided to add a couple woven woods in a bathroom this month and everything again went well again with the same professional results.  Many of our neighbors in our community also used Shutter Heaven and were happy with the service and product and that is how we found out about them.  I am happy to recommend them if you are looking for high end quality at an affordable price.
