Overall our experience has been a nightmare. I hired RVM and put my faith in them 100%. Since the work was completed, I've learned a lot about the quality of the work performed. For instance, RVM installed a air register and intake within a foot of each other in my kitchen ceiling-- problem with this is that at least a 1/3 of the hot or cold air that blows through the register goes right into the intake. That is money down the drain and I've learned recently that for aesthetics, intakes are always placed in an out of the way area, ie. hallway. RVM installed three dishwashers at our kitchen sink and did not install and air gap. Air gaps are necessary to keep dirty water flowing out. We've apparently been eating dishes washed in dirty water for years and were unaware until calling in another plumber. ALL of the drywall was finished in a subpar manner. I am able to distinguish where the new and old texture begins/ends. Pot Filler at kitchen stove was installed too close to the burners and leaks if the burner directly under the pot filler is used. Interior doors are stained different shades of brown Pocket door installed in a add-on bathroom knocks against the wall at open/close and has resulted in deep gashes to the pocket door. Shower faucet installed at bath remodel installed incorrectly and cannot be used.
ALL of this work with the exception of one add-on bath was performed without a permit.
I am not a contractor and was unaware of these issues until bringing in a professional.
