Our home was built in the 1940's and we were concerned about lead based paint. We called National Econ and they were very flexible when setting up the appointment to suit our schedule. The technician arrived on time and was very professional. He was able to give us verbal confirmation of the presence/absence of lead, and we had a thorough report emailed 2 days later. We were very happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone who lives in an older home for peace of mind.

Called National Econ and set up an appointment for testing. The price is fixed, so there was no negotiation. I did not seek another bid, as both painters said this was the company to use.

The inspector, Mark, arrived on time with his $20,000 testing gun. He spent about 2 hours and quot;shootingand quot; each room's walls, ceilings and woodwork. Checked painted kitchen cabinets. Took readings outside on the house and garage. Found plenty of evidence of lead-based paint, but surprisingly turned up large areas with little or no lead.

The company quickly provided us with a very complete report, including floor plans and specific readings for each location.

The EPA-certified painter we selected has based his work on the lead levels present.

Good, quick job, excellent report. Highly recommended.
