Service is outstanding

-When my wife and I got there we were able to walk around yard, looking at stock without any selling pressure. Dale maintains a small staff so may need be patient when ready for service. When we where ready he walked us through the yard and showed us a large selection of remnants.

-We searched a lot of places and this was the only place we could find remnants.

-Dale provided a reference to cut and install the granite remnant and an estimated cost for the installation. When I told Dale about the additional $50 charge for shimming, Dale said that I shouldn't have been charged and felt bad because he provided the reference and cost for installation, so Dale reimbursed me the $50.

-Dale mentioned that he receives no financial benefit from the installers but provides them as a convenience if the customer needs the service.

-Dale's integrity and pride of service is one of those rare traits that's rarely seen.

-Highly recommend the Marble Yard.

Dale had a great selection of slabs to choose from. He went out of his way to show us around the yard and suggest slabs to go with our cabinets and tile. He's a wealth of knowledge and has great suggestions. Once we found the right slab the price was very fair. He went out if his way to accommodate our installers picking up the slab and was overall a pleasure to work with.

Rows and rows of beautiful granite and marble slabs.  I'm so glad we went here instead of purchasing from the big box store.  There are so many choices.  We came in on busy Saturday afternoon and even though we did not have an appointment, Edgar and Dale made the time to help us out.  We were interested in a beautiful white granite slab.  Dale priced it for us and gave us info.  We went home and thought it over and called back a few days later.  Dale processed my credit card over the phone.  We didn't have a fabricator lined up but Dale recommended Professional Stone Care and we are extremely pleased with their service as well.    Everything turned out wonderful and we had a great experience.  I definitely recommend checking this place out.

We encountered a hitch on the day the project was to be mapped out on the granite.  Dale was professional and helped re-direct me to another selection that was even more beautiful and was large enough for our project.  In addition, when we needed little bit more than the slab, he came through with an outside the box solution that really sealed our deal.  He was an absolute delight to work with.  We found the experience to be very pleasant, quick and we love the results!

We found Best Way Marble & Tile on Angie's List, and this alone made the subscription worth it! We had been searching for countertops for months, and either got unbelievably expensive quotes, or the run-around from the big-box stores. We had also had a very bad experience remodeling our bathroom, that we were hesitant with the rest of our remodel.

Eddie was very helpful, always returned my calls, had great suggestions, and was patient with my indecisiveness. He really worked with us to find the best option at the best price.

His son and another man did a great job installing. They did cause a few very small chips in our paint and cabinets during installation, however the spaces were very narrow, so I guess it's understandable.

The only negative thing I can say is that I never got to meet Eddie to thank him for the great work.

It went fine. The man was very nice. We made an appointment with them as recommended and we were able to get an appointment the next day. He was very nice. He took us around and told us everything and showed us various things and I didn't find what I wanted but we were very pleased with our experience with him. The price was more expensive.

My wife and I spent 2 separate Fridays going to granite yards to find a slab for our kitchen counter top. Although we were working with a granite fabricator to locate a slab, we only went to 3 granite yards with him. After that, we ventured out by ourselves. We went to the biggest name yards in South Orange County. We could not find anything that appealed to us. The experience was draining and frustrating. People who work at these yards are not helpful. Most yards will not work with the general public and will not give you pricing on slabs when you inquire about the price.

After that painful experience, we went home and researched granite yards reviews on Yelp. Thankfully, we came across a review for Marble Yard and Dale Yanda. We set up an appointment with Dale. We found Dale to be very friendly and knowledgeable. He was totally engaged in the selection process. He shared really good ideas and took us in a direction that we would have never considered by ourselves. We were very comfortable working with Dale and very pleased with the granite slab he helped us select.

Dale makes sure that the fabricator you choose makes a wood template of your counter top and brings it to Marble Yard before taking the granite to their shop. Dale has the fabricator place the template on the granite so he can determine how to make the cuts and where the cuts should be placed to look the most attractive on the counter top. He really puts in the extra effort to extract the most aesthetically pleasing  outcome for your counter top.

Dale brought back splash samples to our house after the granite had been installed. He didn't charge anything to make the trip. He just enjoys his work. We were able to choose a great back splash. We asked Dale if he knew someone who could install the back splash. Dale has a great assistant named Edgar that works for him. He informed us that Edgar had installed the exact back splash for another customer and that the result was fantastic. We decided to use Edgar and we are very pleased that we did. Edgar did a great job and was extremely reasonably priced. Edgar is a great individual who takes real pride in his work. We developed very comfortable working relationships with Dale and Edgar and had many great conversations with them. We highly recommend both of them.

If you decide to visit Marble Yard, make sure to do it by appointment. Dale is busy and may not have the time to spend with walk-in customers

Marble yard was the only place I was able to find a remnant piece of granite to match existing kitchen countertop.  Only needed a 6ft x 2ft remnant to create a pass-through piece between our kitchen and living room.  They had a couple pieces with the same design pattern.  Dale was helpful in selecting the appropriate piece and coming up with a plan for fabricating and installing it.  I had limited time to complete the install and they were able to get it done the week after I purchased the piece, but it did require a few phone calls to make sure it would be done on time.  The fabricated piece looks great and the wrap-around "dog ear" corners give it a nice finished look.
