We assumed he was licensed, and found out after some time that he wasn't. He gave us some references, and we called them and they said the work was acceptable. The work he did, however, was awful. The ducts, air openings and plenham were incorrectly installed, so the furance wasn't working. He came back to correct it and installed a 4 ton furnace that was too large for our home. It still wasn't working properly, so we had to get someone else to come out to correct the work at an additional $1500. Do not hire this individual. He claims he does great work and has 22 years of experience, but run. He's a low baller, and you get what you pay for.
