I contacted Joe about making a custom bathroom vanity as we had non-standard size to fill between two walls, one of which was going to be newly constructed. Within a few days, Joe arrived promptly to look at the space and take measurements . Prior, I had mentioned that I was looking for a dark- stained cabinet and was very specific about door style, so he brought his darkest sample pieces and one door style that I was interested in. Joe was very thorough in measuring the space, determining where the new wall would end, and discussing cabinet construction options that would fit into our budget. (6 drawers vs. 2 drawers and 2 doors). A few days later, he emailed an estimate and since he was able to deliver what we wanted, we hired him for the job. When I met with Joe at his office, we finalized stain color, door style, and measurement details. I liked how he was able to customize the length, width, height, and even the drawer size, to our exact needs and specifications. Joe was also very partial to NOT using "filler" pieces between the vanity cabinet and the walls. For example, I could have purchased a standard 48 inch vanity and used approximately 5 inches of filler. This would have been cheaper, but wouldn't have looked as good. He wanted to make sure the cabinet fit perfectly, so as not to have to use any filler. He explained this he usually constructs his cabintets larger than they need to be, and then shaves off the extra instead of using the dreaded filler pieces. His attention to detail was remarkable. Within a few weeks the cabinet was completed and his installers came to fit it in. Due to Joe's painstaking precise measurements and new wall projection measurements (I ordered the vanity before the wall was contructed), it was a perfect fit...and equally gorgeous!! The installers also placed the new hardware that I had purchased exactly where I wanted it on the cabinets drawers and doors. Trust me, I did not want to drill into those gorgeous alder doors myself. The experts did a fabulous job.

Fast forward a few weeks.........water damage occurred to the bathroom vanity due to plumbing negligence (just to be clear - NOT Joe's fault). I immediately contacted Joe about the damage and cost to repair the cabinet. I was pleased, again, with his prompt response to address the problem. He came out within one day and assessed the damage. Fortunately, I was able to replace parts of the cabinet and didn't have to deal with starting the process all over again.

Joe is a true professional. I will recommend him to all of my friends and family.

I've used Kehoe Custom Wood Designs for two home improvement projects. A few years ago they made new cabinets for my kitchen. Joe was helpful with design suggestions that made more effective us of space. The work was finished and delivered on time. All of his work men were neat and kept everything clean and covered as necessary. Joe was professional and returned calls promptly. Any question or concern was addressed in a timely manner. More recently I contracted with Joe again to build a custom entertainment center. It came out better than expected. I've had such a positive experience with Joe and his team that I plan to use Kehoe Custome Wood Designs again to build new vanities in my bathrooms.

It was remarkable. They were phenomenal job. It was 100% in my budget. He did the whole cabinet not just the refinish, it was actually doing the whole thing. He was amazing. They finished it in two days. They actually finished it in a day and a half. The best quote I got for my wood. That was for new cabinets. Joe was amazing, he's super nice, very accommodating, great.

Work was done on time and stress free. Very professional and knowledgeable. Love the end results.
