In home euthanasia of dogs, cats and horses, cremation, hospice care, internal medicine house calls, euthanasia consultations.
I had to euthanize my dog and didn't want to take her back to the Vet. My dog was very frail and she was more and more petrified of the hospital. For the last act of kindness for my companion, I decided to use in-home euthanasia. Dr. Kelly respnded promptly, and very flexible with the schedule as it is emergency. The charge may seem high, but what I got was the humane treatment for my dog, she passed at home, surrounded by a friend who used to dog-sit her and her family, on the spot she loved to lie down, in a stress-free environment. We fed her favorite treats and comfort her in her familiar surrounding. Dr. Kelly was prompt and efficient and very calm when problems arose (my dog had too many tests and procedures we literally ran out of a workable blood veins to administer her dosage). She also took care of the cremation and brought back the ash. It was very convenient because she came to me and practically did everything that I would have to do by myself and let me spend final moments with my dog without stress and pre-occupied. I didn?t have to run around or take time off from work to arrange for the after care. The best service was her explanations about my dog decease and why it was the right thing to do. It was not just a can or empty comforting words, but an easy to understand explanation about the decease, the treatments, why and what happened even if my dog responded to the treatment. It was like an "ah-ha" moments that helped me put two and two together of what my vet instructions were about. Lastly is that she is genuinely kind and compassionate, compare with my experiences with the veterinarians and their staff. Her services worth every penny and more. Also, a portion of the payment will be donated to a non-profit organization to help provide medical attention to animals in need..
