Easy pools was very quick in their response, and they did a good job.

Worked with Easy Pools last year on a new pool build in Whittier. The crew worked diligently and kept me updated on progress and timeline along the way. The owner, David, was honest and offered different alternatives at different price points. He didn?t apply pressure or try to upsell anything. He went out of his way to make sure everything went smooth from start to finish, including permit inspections and coordinating logistics with other contractors that were working on other projects onsite. The Easy Pools team was highly responsive and professional. I always recommend Easy Pools to my friends and family because of their high quality workmanship and the overall positive experience I had working with David.

David must have his own definition of honesty and integrity because his actions say otherwise. Definitely gave a good pitch, competitive price, but I was 4200 over budget but hoping I can secure the extra funds but will take a little time and 2 other bids next week. I asked to see tile & coping samples which he offered to bring Monday. He came with his worker, 2 pumps to empty my pool-nobody mistakenly hears ?your hired?nor do they hire someone when still collecting quotes-he also acted as though I inconvenienced his employee but I?m sure that was his attempt at closing the deal. He made a big deal about the material he got on discount only enough for my pool so we don?t wanna wait. I secured the money for the pool and told David the deposit check was ready on Friday-he never even responded and his demeanor the few times I did reach out was short-needless to say obviously pissed and putting me behind schedule. He needs to learn better closing techniques, I can?t imagine pushy works these days.

1. Lowballed on quote then upsell for more expensive SPA heater. 2. Refuse to program SPA pump that he just installed. Reason: it is not his job. 3. Low quality workmanship on SPA tile installation.

They put in their contract that the replastering would be complete in nine business days, but they were done in five business days and that was even with the rain delay. Quality work. I would highly recommend them.

Our Experience with Easy Pool, Inc. was far above our expectations. David stood out from ALL the contractors we had estimates from BY FAR! He understood the situation we were in and gave us the most honest evaluation and estimate and didn't try to upsell. He explained what updates were necessary and gave us a fair price. David, Nick, the tile crew, & the plaster/pebbletech crew were all so friendly and efficient. They came and completed the job within a few days! They were amazing. And throughout the remodel, both David & Nick checked in with us and answered all of our questions. We are grateful to David and the Easy Pool Crew for making what could have been a very stressful process, such a pleasure. We highly recommend Easy Pool for your pool projects. We would definitely work with David and the entire Easy Pool Crew again, without hesitation!! :)

Satisfied, with the work and the price

We contracted with Dave Young on 11/20/2020, for a pool remodel and for the most part everything went well, until it didnâ t. Dave completed the job on January 3, 2021, and he told us many times, that if you have any problems, just call him, as he is the warranty man, and he stands by his work. There were 2 problems that needed to be resolved after we paid him in full. He needed to fill a portion of our sidewalk that was torn open for piping and we discovered that the backwash valve to the filter did not work. After many text messages and phone calls, Dave finely sent his worker to fix the sidewalk on February 16, 2021, but his worker would not fix the backwash valve, until he talked to Dave. We contacted Dave again in March, and again in May, when he told that he was not our warranty guy and we should contact Pentair directly to file a warranty claim on the filter that Dave installed. We did contact Pentair and through their instruction, we sent photos of our filter installation to Pentair s local Pool contractor, who determined via an email that he sent back to us, on May 24, 2021, that the filter equipment was plumbed incorrectly and that was why the backwash valve did not work. After our last text messages to Dave in May 2021, Dave blocked our calls on both of our cell phones. What reputable contractor does business that way? We also sent 2 registered letters to both of his addresses found on his contract letterhead, asking him to fix this incorrect plumbing issue on our Pentair filter. No response to either letter. I guess a buyer beware is the key take away here and if you contract with Dave Young make sure everything is in writing. Also, FYI his profile on HOME ADVISOR IS NOT CORRECT! He lists an address and hours of operation as if he has a brick mortar business. He does not. We went to that address, 430 South Anaheim Hills Road, Anaheim, CA 92807 and there is no such Easy Pool Inc. business at that address.

This Father's Day I was surprised by a gift from my children; they contracted to have my pool re-plastered. I was grateful for the gesture but somewhat apprehensive when I considered that there was a time factor involved. I was reassured that the contractor was going to start the day after Father's Day and the job would be complete in 5 days. The reason I was concerned was because I have 6-year-old and 4-year-old grandchildren that were counting down the days and holding me accountable that the pool would be ready for them to go in. I had labored diligently during the off-season to keep the pool clean at great expense, including of course the chemicals. Needless to say the pool was ready to be opened in time for my grandchildren to enjoy it. My children entered into this contract with the pool plasterer on June 15th and the work was to begin on the 21st and to be completed within 5 days. I'm writing this now on July 1st, and my pool has been re-plastered. We are now told by the contractor that he cannot proceed to plaster the pool because he is unable to obtain the needed plaster. He said that this is a problem industry-wide and that I should Google it if I didn't believe him. I indeed did Google it and I contacted a few other sources including pool supply places and they all collaborated his story however they said that this has been a problem since before the beginning of the year and it's only getting worse. It is therefore my contention that on June 15th, when he entered into this contract, he was well aware of this logistical problem. He assures us that he will check with his suppliers everyday and ;...if the moon and the stars line up just right perhaps he'll get the stuff we need... I am severely disappointed that he was not more upfront with us on June 15th about this problem, and the possible delays it would cause. On top of the severe disappointment this is going to bring to my grandchildren and me; I also was in the process of getting a free replaced pool pump; however the criteria for getting this pump was that I have to have the pool filled with water in order to get it. I might lose out on this opportunity, as it is a time-sensitive issue.

I am very happy with Eazy Pools!! In 3 days the crew did the demo, repair and plaster. They are super organized and professional. They did a spectacular job and left no mess. I would absolutely recommend them.

We selected three Home Advisor pool remodeling companies for proposals to replaster, tile our pool and to install new pool equipment. Easy Pools was a little more expensive than the others but what impressed me was David Young. We were not looking for low bid...we wanted a high quality, best in class company. David is a consummate professional who does not try to upsell and is highly experienced in pool building and remodeling. He is a highly ethical man with an experienced team of pool building professionals. They exceeded our expectations in every possible way. The outstanding pool remodeling and equipment replacement was fully completed in 5 days. Complete perfection in workmanship...and clean up. Each day the workers left you could not find anything to pick up or sweep. The workers were quiet, constantly on task, extremely polite. I had to look out the window to know they were even here. Only on pool demolition day did we hear anything! We have had many projects and workers on our property over 47 years. However, we never before encountered the high quality and professionalism we experienced with Dave and his crew. Our new pool is beautiful! We recommend Dave Young and Easy Pools without reservation. They did a good job with the pool and finished ahead of schedule. They did tell us they would fix a wooden screen that they took out but that has not been done yet . I know that Steve had an accident, so we are still waiting.

He did not do the job as promised and doesn't complete the job. He conveniently forgets to put things into the contract so you have to pay extra and denies remembering he said anything. I would not recommend him and beware of what you sign with him

I NEVER write reviews, but the response time, project quality, price and follow-through from David and his Easy Pool staff was so exceptional I decided to share my thoughts. David showed up on time, did an amazing job on our pool pebble (demo and replace) and finished a day earlier than projected and on budget. Totally professional experience. I'd rehire them in a heartbeat.

David gave me a very fair price and on the day agreed for the construction start his crew showed up promptly, did an A+ job, cleaned up the debris without trace and the next day proceeded with the replastering. The entire job was done in 2 days. We had some bad winds that brought soot and ashes into the pool, and after performing the startup, David went the extra mile and made sure to clean the pool. David is extremely reliable, communicates well and takes pride in the work he and his crew perform. Extremely happy with the end product, would wholeheartedly recommend Easy Pool, Inc.
