Garage door got stuck half way and would not go down or up; tension spring was broken! Called Denkers and tech came out. It was late but he still came so I didn't have to leave garage half open. Repaired door and it has functioned properly to this day, four years and 7 months later!

The installation went smoothly, and we love our new door and how quiet the operation is. We did get 2 other estimates, and Denkers was the overall lowest. Cheryl in the office was a real pleasure to work with, and Dan and his helper were great with the installation. We highly recommend their company.

They did an okay job. They got the wrong parts the first time and came back with the right stuff and it went fine. I thought he did a good job. They price was pretty good.

Denker's Garage Doors did a fine job. They were very efficient and very professional. They warned me that the springs would probably be the next thing to go, and sure enough, the springs were the next things. They were prompt and professional. They got back to me. They came out promptly and on time. They didn't keep me waiting. He knew what he was doing, and he worked very quickly.

They were great. I go all over; I have many different zip codes I use in Angie's List. It was a rental, so we just got the simplest garage door. They had more choices that were fancy. I went to Angie's List and chose them. I always go there when I need something and narrow things down and call. Rather than the phonebook, I just go to Angie's List. I was happy with the work they did for me. Actually, I didn't even go check it immediately, but the people who live there didn't say a word about a mess. I think that they were fine. With regard to price, they were fine; I don't know what it costs. I was fine with the price.

My garage door wouldn't open, and I noticed the big spring over the door was broken. I called Denker's at 8:05 a.m. on a Monday and was told a repair man would be at my house between 2 and 4 that afternoon. At 3:00 p.m. a truck with two repair men in it pulled up at the curb. Within 15 minutes they replaced the garage door spring, and the door was working perfectly. This was the second time I used Denker's, and I have been well satisfied both times.

A very nice person came to the door, on time, to give us an estimate on a new garage door and door opener. After receiving 3 bids, we chose Denker's to do the work. He came on a Saturday, within a 2 hr allotted time and started to install the door. He had been given the wrong size door and work stopped after he put our old door back on. He said he would not be able to return the door, get the right sized one and return to installed it that day.
It was over a week before he returned with the new door and installed it. He arrived a little later than his allotted time, but did an excellent job and finished within 2 hrs. The door looks great and works great.
I don't think that what happened is a common occurrence for the company. If we had to do it over again, we would still choose Denker's to do the job.

Work was performed without much disruption. They were organized,
made sure everything worked and appeared as promised. They had to come
back because one of the pieces wasn't available but return as promised and scheduled.
A pretty good experience overall. Very friendly and helpful people. I'd use them again.

Installer arrived on time and finished installation quickly and even hauled away old unit and packaging.
After installation, a short tutorial was given to make sure I knew how to use the features and the opener.
They forgot the external keypad, but promised to come back the following Monday to install it. They made good on the promise.
The administrator/scheduler is especially great to work with. She is very responsive and great at following up when you leave a message.

Other than Costco/ Cand W Garage Doors, Denker's uses Amarr garage doors which seemed to be a quality garage door. I contacted them because of the Angie's List reviews. This company seems to have two sides. I will elaborate. A guy came out to give an estimate on replacing the doors. Customer service was definitely not his thing. Kind of said well these are the options and that is it. Seemed like he did not want to be there or doing this. He answered questions but it was minimal effort. Once I decided I wanted that maker of door and was going to use Denker's, I worked with Sheryl in the office to make adjustment to the estimate, deposit, ordering the door, and set up work appointment. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and responsive. The price came to $2485 for 2 Amarr Stratford 3000 garage doors with wood look finish with decatrim windows. On the installation day, they were on time but the guy who gave me the estimate was doing the work with a helper. His attitude was terrible. The installation went smoothly and they did a good job. It took them about 2 hours to finish.
I don't expect you to be a great salesman but if I am going to dump a few thousands to you to do some work at least seem like you want to be there and have the work.
Overall, they did a good job on the install. I was not going to go with them solely based on the on-site guy's attitude but the only things that saved them was Sheryl in the office and that fact that they were $200 less than the other Amarr door estimate.

The garage door would often only work intermittently. Another company told me the door operator and the door springs would have to be replaced. I called Denker's and after describing the problem they told me over the phone that only the operator would have to be replaced. They quoted me a price almost $400 less than the previous estimate.
Dan arrived right at the beginning of the time frame I had been given. He told me that the door springs shouldn't be replaced until one break's. With his better prices and not replacing the door springs he saved me close to $400. Within 45 minutes he had the new opener installed and reprogrammed the cars' Homelink to operate the door.
Unfortunately about 1 week later there was nothing but a grinding sound when attempting to open the door. Called Denker's again and after attempting a fix they requested I try, Dan came out again. He replaced the operator unit without charge. Apparently a pin had come loose in the worm gear inside the unit. Dan said he had never seen this problem before. No problems so far with the new unit.
I liked that Denker's does not try to up-sell unnecessary repairs.

Dan seemed honest, professional, and fixed the door correctly. I would highly recommend you us Denkers Garage Door

They were honest, punctual and worked quickly. Even the person over the phone was offering suggestions. As it turns out, we needed a motor repair. Thanks for a job well done.

From start to finish this deal was painless. Denkers did exactly what was proposed, left the place spotless and the door works just like its supposed to. Thanks Denkers!

He came right on time and did a good job on servicing the garage door. He was very friendly and efficient. He was a man of his word. It was a good service call and I would definitely recommend them again. He tightend up all bolts on the panel and set the spring tension to properly set it. He made sure the lubrication on the wheels and track was properly set up. He adjusted the garage door openers to their proper setup.

The service tech was neat, efficient, pleasant, and fixed the problem.

I was not there but the technician showed up when he said he would, took care of the problem in 15 minutes and on his way, he went.

I called Denker's and Sheryl handled the order. Sheryl was totally knowledgeable about pricing and requirements for door installation, e.g. an extra safety feature required because the attached garage had no door into the house. They were very accommodating by scheduling the work to be completed before a birthday party.

Moved into a 1955 mid-century modern ranch home that had been neglected for years by renters. The garage door was out of balance and I needed someone to come out and fix and inspect for any other problems. Friendly Cheryl in the office quoted me the service call price of $95. Dan and assistant Brandon came out, serviced and inspected and said the motor was in good shape and didn't require any other work. Great news from an honest man. He replaced the password keypad for $50 but there were no other expenses. We are restoring the home and may replace the garage door in the future and we won't hesitate to call Dan.
