He does good work but has a bad temper.

We needed Dan to redo or finish up bad detail work by a previous contractor (NOT from Angie's List). After the nightmare of that prior experience, Dan was a pleasure to have working here. He returned my initial phone call within a day, listened carefully to a description of work needed, and let me know up front that he was currently and usually booked two weeks out (which was to me a good sign). On the day scheduled, Dan arrived on time, was pleasant and courteous (sadly, no longer a given in the world of contracting today), and prepared to get right to work. As importantly, he was careful with our property, as his work necessitated moving through and working within already finished, fully furnished areas of our home. We had had difficulty selecting the right replacement recessed lights for the kitchen and knew we would need someone who could figure out the assembly required for the size adjustment and install. Dan was the man! He went shopping for the lights, returned promptly and got them properly installed. He also re-caulked the tub in the brand new bathroom to eliminate inadequate, sloppy work done prior. It looks, now, as it should have after the last contractor's work: one even line?smooth, straight, clean, without breaks and cracks. In a word: perfect. Finally, Dan got our doorbell working for the first time since we moved here two years ago. Dan worked quietly and as quickly as possible (e.g., bathroom work in particular was painstaking and took a little more time); and his costs were entirely reasonable. You may be sure that we already have another little list of 'To-Dos' for him; and the next time we can skip the frustrating search and go right back to the best! Thanks, Dan!

He got it done. He was here when he said and all in good time. I may use someone else only because he has another job and I know that it takes quite a bit of his time. I think I would try one of the other ones that strictly does the handyman service.

I found his recommendations always helpful, and his work done to the best level I have seen in the trades, and I have been in the trades for 40 years. Dan has proactively fixed issues that were unseen because they were under the house where I have not visited. He has generally bettered and made more accessible the previous work of plumbers and carpenters and pipefitters. He has suggested reliable trades people that I have hired and further recommended and just generally become my most trusted outside provider of labor for construction work at my house. He will be doing the next 3 or 4 larger projects that I am planning, besides finishing the kitchen that he started.

Dan installed 2 bathroom vanities, one in the main house and one in the guesthouse. He was prompt, knowledgeable and professional. The price charged for the job was very, very reasonable. I will always use Dan for handyman services!

Dan and his assistant were on time and very polite and nice. They responded to my call immediately which was nice. They hung window blinds, a mirror and mailbox for me. All of the window blinds did come out nicely. However my only complaint is that although the hourly rate is very reasonable, they took excessively long to hang the blinds. In addition there was a fair amount of scuffs scrapes and chips in the newly painted window frames and walls. In addition, one of latches got broken on a brand new window and they never bothered to tell me, nobody else had been in the house till them, so I know it was not broken when they arrived. Would recommend them for work, just a few things that I took issue with.

Dan normally does not do work in my area, but came anyway. He was punctual, friendly and professional. I originally thought a gate would need to be replaced, but he suggested a repair which was much less costly. He also repaired an interior door that would not close properly. He was fast but thorough. Excellent!

DANIEL IS THE BEST HANDYMAN IN THE WORLD! I seriously love this guy. I had purchased a new condo and he was referred to me. Anything you can think of he can do! He is so much more then just a handyman, he literally can do it all! Hardwood flooring: he floated it above the old flooring to save on cost. The floors are so nice and beautiful. SEEMLESS! The flooring flows so nice. I just went to my local home depot and purchased flooring that was on sale. The flooring looks like i spent thousands of dollars. My flooring is in the entry way, living room, dining room and kitchen. Carpet: I purchased the carpet through his company. He had so many samples and different textures, different styles. Any type of carpet you can think of Daniel has it. He installed the carpet on the stairs and in the 3 bedrooms. Everything is so seemless it looks as if its one giant piece of carpet that was made just for my space. Painting: Its perfect! The lines are sharp and clean. No drips or smudges. Fireplace: He built me a fireplace surround and tiled it. Now the fireplace looks finished This guy is great. If you need anything I would call him first.
