“ CertaPro was so professional from the first contact. Jason called me right away and came out within a couple of days when my schedule allowed. He was polite and explained everything. He provided a detailed work order and didn't even ask for a deposit. His recommendation to Dunn Edwards made the process of picking colors pain free because of their computerized images. The painters that did the work, Julio and Sammy, were the nicest men. They left my property clean and neat everyday. It's a big house so it took a long time to paint but every day they kept things clean and put away safely. I would, and recently did, recommend CertaPro to anyone. I didn't realize there were different paints. Jason was my point of contact. He was punctual. We talked about my expectation the pain job. It was about where to paint and where they can't reach (between the woods). He showed me color samples. The workers were very professional and explained about the need for primer on regular exterior paint. but the paint and seal didn't require primer.

The work was done carefully and very thorough. We had some difficult patching and it was done very well.

Went great. The painters showed up on time and made sure I was happy with the completed job. They actually stayed late on the last day on the job to repaint an area I was unhappy with. They went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied! Very easy to work with.

Raul and Sergio were absolutely awesome and professional. The attention to detail was great. They were respectful of our property, covering the couch, sealing off the kitchen when they painted. There was a small hiccup where we needed to have an oil based primer for the bathrooms and doors, they took care of it. When it came to touching up, they jumped right on them when we addressed the areas. The kitchen was a beast, it took an extra day, but Raul was determined to do his best work and was proud of the job when it was finished. At the start, he recommended we put new hinges on the doors. We supplied the 47 hinges and he put them on when he reattached the doors.

Excellent work by Scott and crew (Humberto and Eduardo). Great workmanship and communication. The job took just the right amount of time and they cleaned up afterwards. Also, the estimate process was easy, thorough and the quoted prices were very fair. We highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

The painting was fine but 3 of our plants were destroyed in the process. The plants weren't against the house. Very upsetting!

Everything went great.   Scott, the owner, showed up to give us an estimate and he was on time and very professional.  He asked us a lot of questions about everything from pricing, color options, how long we planned to live in the house, etc.  His price was fair and we hired him on the spot.  His crew begin working the following week.  Octavio and his painters were respectful of our space and cleaned everything each day before they left.  Before the painters were done, we walked through everything they had done and they made sure that were happy and comfortable with the work before they asked for payment.  The company was great to work with and I would use them again if we have any other painting needs in the future. 

CertaPro painted the exterior of our home in 2014, and they did such a good job, we hired them this year to paint the interior of our home. The job done in 2014 was the best bid and turned out beautifully, so we didn't bother getting multiple bids on our recent interior work, just went with Scott at CertaPro Yorba Linda. The painting, along with multiple home upgrades were recently completed. We are happy with the appearance, and anticipate the same long-term high quality that we experienced with our exterior painting. Additional note of appreciation to Scott who went above and beyond the scope of his responsibilities to ensure our satisfaction both during and after the projects were completed.

CertaPro immediately responded to my inquiry and was very pleasant and professional when coming to assess the home for an initial quote. They patiently went through all my options and noted what was "Must" and a "Nice to have" in providing a quote. Once I receive multiple quotes from multiple providers, I was able to work with CertaPro to get us what we want within our budget.

 The actually painters were very nice, professional, and punctual each and every day. They completed the work quickly and according to the specification. The account rep that I worked with during the sales process was in touch during the entire process and checked in onsite during the 1.5 week engagement.

 Cons:

 We were able to pick a main color for the interior and exterior. I would have hoped for a bit more help on coordinating colors (for bathrooms and accent walls). Disclaimer*** I was not explicit in my discussions that I would have wanted this from them. I made the assumption it would be available and they moved so quickly (which is a good thing) that we felt rushed to pick the additional colors.

 Their attention to detail could use.... some attention. I am not a "perfectionist", but there are many areas along the windows, baseboards, and accent walls that do not have straight lines / clear start stop.

 Their cleanup was not what I would have desired. We didn't have much furniture in the house while performing the services, so that may be why they did not cover as much of the home as they may have done otherwise. I am still finding paint droplets on the floor, sinks, windows, etc. There was also not any actually "cleaning" that was done in the areas where there was foot traffic and patching and whatnot.

The interior walls (20ft. high ceiling) of my home are absolutely beautiful! 

Being very meticulous, after a few months researching on several web sites, I found Mr. Scott Gibson, owner of Certa-Pro and his representative, James Seegers.  I was skeptical at first but after 7 different estimates and narrowing down to 3 very competitive companies I chose Certa-Pro because I was so impressed with the professional presentation that James had demonstrated when he came to my house to give me an estimate.

I was delighted with James? performance, which started from the time we were introduced.  I had a good feeling that I was getting someone who was sincere and would provide both conscientious and quality service.  I was not disappointed.

A few specific examples include:        
The estimate James provided was very fair, as I have sought out seven other estimates.   

Even though a few other quotes from 3 competitive companies that I have narrowed down were similar, I selected Certa-Pro due to the professionalism, detailed job lists, and impressive organization that James demonstrated.

During the job, James showed a natural ability to decrease owner anxiety when my house was turned into a construction zone.  Helping me to select the paint, sheen, and color was also very comforting.
 
Kindness and honesty round out the qualities that I observed in James throughout the project.

In addition, I would be remiss if I did not also give credit to the fine work performed by Scott Gibson?s crew (Joel, Ramon, Nestor).  It is not easy to have one?s home ?taken over? by unfamiliar people, but my experience with Scott Gibson?s crew was nothing short of a pleasure.  They consistently demonstrated professional and courteous service.  They were very efficient and did an excellent job of covering our rooms, iron rod stairway, and leather furniture, which helped to put our mind at ease.  One of the painter always had a smile on his face and made the day a bit brighter. 


I believe Certa-Pro to be among the best in Orange County.  I learned through other reviews that Scott Gibson is a man of honesty and great integrity, which are quite rare qualities these days, and to me, therefore, priceless!  This was confirmed when I met Scott in person as he took the time to inspect and guaranteed (in his contract) the fine painting job of my house.   Furthermore, his entire crew also spoke so highly of him during the job.  It seemed that that their respect for him was healthy/ genuine and not merely kind words.

I know that I have received the best result and most of all excellent customer service.  To our surprise, my husband and I actually enjoyed the process of having our home painted and not just the result.  Scott Gibson made this possible and we are very grateful.

 this is a very well run company. the work was excellent.

The overall experience with the company was very good.  Not only did they gave me a reasonable estimate, when I explained to them how I wouldn't be available because of starting a new job, they were able to rearrange their schedule and help me paint the house.  The workers were very professional and punctual.  They made sure at the end of each work day any furnitures moved would be put back in their original spot.  I would definitely recommend CertaPro to anyone who want to get their house painted in the future.
