He retained the original look of the cushions, with identical seams and buttons. I think he had to refill the arm-rests with new material. I'm extremely pleased with the work.

Sergio came the day I called, brought a helper in case the appointment went well (which it did), took the sofa that day and had it back two days later - job well done. Can't get better then that!

I brought in one chair, the employees at Century worked with me to try
to find material I would like at a reasonable price. They picked up the
other three chairs on time. I was told it would take three weeks, it
took a little over two weeks. They delivered the chairs right on time.
I called to ask for a referral for scotch guarding. They returned my
call within minutes with a name and phone number . Excellent service

We have worked with Sergio and his crew several times. All told he has reupholstered two couches and two chairs for us. Our furniture looks brand new! Probably the most difficult piece was an antique crescent sofa; it was quite decrepit, but Sergio managed to bring it back to life! He basically had to rebuild the frame, redo the springs - the works. Despite the fact that this level of work was not included in his upholstery quote, he did not charge us an additional penny. Granted, this was the third piece we had sent him, but still - he could have easily justified charging us more.
Both my husband and I are extremely happy with pieces he has reupholstered and I know they will last for years to come. I have recommended Century Custom Upholstery to several friends and will continue to do so.

Sergio is the BEST! We originally went to him to reupholster a beautiful old (1800s) couch we inherited from an elderly relative. We chose a tan microfiber, as we have children and pets and wanted something easy to take care of. When Sergio brought the couch back to our home he told us "You got the deal of a lifetime!" It turns out the frame was rotting in a bunch of places, so he essentially REBUILT the frame, and then reupholstered the entire thing! WITHOUT CHARGING A PENNY MORE THAN HIS ORIGINAL ESTIMATE! Hard to believe, but true! He did a wonderful job, and we now have a sturdy, elegant (yet easily cleanable) couch that fits with our busy household. We were so happy we decided to have him reupholster an easy chair we had been meaning to have recovered for years. I went to his store and found the perfect fabric, and because it was a "remnant" I got it for about 15% of the original cost-per-yard. Score! The chair turned out beautifully, and we decided to send him our other couch for reupholstery. Again, it came back better than new - I think they even spruced up the wooden arms, because they look brand new! I have one more chair that needs to be done and I'm about to send it off to him. His work is amazing, he has a great choice of fabrics in his shop and will work with you to find something that will fit your budget. Each couch ended up costing ~$1000.00 and the chair was ~$500.00. Our living room looks brand new, and I know these pieces will be with us a long long time! Thanks Sergio!

There were a few miscommunications based on language differences. The executive was Spanish and when I called him to check why he didn't make it for the job; he advised that he thought the job was scheduled for tomorrow. He was very flexible with time and did a good job. He came twice, the 1st time to take measurements and the 2nd after 10 days with the finished product. I went to purchase the material which was washable, too. He re-stuffed the cushions and made them look like new. He did a wonderful job and I will use his services in future.

The owners, a brother and sister (Rose), are very knowledgeable on fabrics, design, and what type of fabric is appropriate for different situations. They did excellent work on the chairs. The chairs were stripped down and all cushioning etc was replaced. They did not just cover old fabric with new. All work is done on the premises by talented employees. You can even visit your furniture to see process. I have recommended many friends who have all been satisfied. I found this upholsterer from a very picking friend of my mother.
