CALIFORNIA REPLACEMENT WINDOWS

We were told the windows would have exterior casing that would cover existing aluminum casing. The installers arrived, riped out all our windows and started installing. Half way through I went outside and noticed they just recess the window inside the old casing and no exterior Casing. Also, dented the old casing but I guess that is covered under their pricing agreement, they are not responsible for damages. Read the fine print before doing business with them. I called Michael and he came and looked and said he understood, he would talk to the owner. He called back hours later and said pay and they will finish the install or they will put a "mechanical lean" on our property. Worst company to deal with. No working with us to try to find a resolution. Just threats. I wouldnt use them again if they were the last windows company on the planet. I would rather do it myself.

Well the first go round was a little rough and I wasn’t happy with the size of the window that I chose for the new sized one. There was a little communication problem with the salesman and I so the window ended up being way too small. The owner, Julie, contacted me and came over to see the problem and really worked with me to fix it and was really understanding and helpful! The window has been fixed and I’m very happy with everything. The quality of these windows is great and an added benefit is how well these new windows block out the sound of the garage band next door! Fantastic!

We had the BEST service from beginning to end with CAL REP Windows. Jimmy was so knowledgeable and really set my husband and I at ease with the whole process. The installation crew (Roger and another gentleman) was on time, efficient and very courteous. We have had them back twice to replace old windows and a french door and what a difference!!! Took several bids and felt the quote from California Replacement was competitive. The owner Joel took a fair amount of time with us, answering questions and explaining the process. The reviews for his company were good. A date was set for install and Jeff and his crew arrived on-time. The installation took little over two days, which was a little longer than expected due to waiting for the city inspectors to be available. Overall the installation went smoothly and professionally. In addition to the window installation they drilled holes for me in the window to allow my security sensors to be installed. Also for free they patched up two areas in my back wall that needed new stucco.

It went very well. We are completely satisfied with our beautiful Simonton windows, excellent work, installation and customer service.

Very good experience, end to end. Pat, the owner, and other sales people are much more knowledgeable about the products offered and the details of theinstallation than sales people from other companies or large windows manufacturers who really don't know the details. Quoting process and explanation of the product was clear. Coordination of delivery and installation was excellent and on time, crew was clean and professional, and any issues were resolved quickly and without discussion. 1 month after install and we are happy with the windows so far. Price was very competitive. This company does windows replacement day in and day out.

A nice man (Jose) showed up at the house about 6:00 pm. Resealed different places around the window. We will see if it stops the leak when it rains.

Have not heard anything back from them yet.

They tell you exactly what to expect, what their gonna do and they do it.

Lay out what your end goal is and if there's a reason you after hearing the price, if you can't get there let them know, if you figure out a descent way to split it cause the cost to get everything done was excessive. The cost was not excessive it was more than I could handle in one, you know how you eat a cow one bite at a time, he kind of help figured out how to make the bites reasonably swollowable.

The servicemen did the work in a very professional manner. They installed the windows in the time they said it would be done. The work area was left clean and the window work was of the highest quality.

Everything went perfectly. I got estimates from several different highly rated companies and Cal Rep Windows was the best in my opinion. Fredy provided the best customer service and was extremely professional. Fredy clearly represents the high standards at that company because everyone was so professional, including the installers. I would absolutely use them again. To be fair the other companies I got estimates were very nice but Fredy's customer service sealed the deal.

The team was great from first contact. The office staff responded quickly to our first inquiry. The initial appointment for measurements and estimate was right on time, as was the re-measure appointment. The staff were very knowledgeable about the product. We were updated on the status of our order, and the install was scheduled as predicted. The team arrived on time and fully prepared. Everyone was professional, the communication was good , and the worksites were kept clean. The job was done in the timeframe that was quoted. Everything looks great and we couldn't be happier that we no longer have outdated and drafty windows! The staff followed up with us to ensure that we were satisfied, and even completed our rebate submission for us. I definitely won't need new windows for a long, long time, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to call Cal Rep again

my brother-in-law was having some vinyl replacement windows put into a rental house that he owns and called me to say how impressed he was with Juli McCann, the owner of Cal Rep - both as to her knowledge of the products she sells and how quickly she got back to him with a quote.  I decided to get visit three window companies:  one that produced and installed its own windows, one that sells several different windows, but is the exclusive Orange County dealer of a well rated window and Juli, who sells Milgard and Simonton.  All of the windows I was considering were good products, but pretty much everything I'd read about replacement window emphasizes the importance of the installer.  However, on all levels - product knowledge, low pressure, ease of ability to work with, price and scheduling, Juli was heads above everyone else.  She explained that all of the products I was looking at were good products, pointed out the key distinguishing features of her products and, in the end, I chose the Simonton slim profile line series.  She arranged for Roger, one of her installers, to come by to do measurements.  He was punctual, took very careful measurements and had some great suggestions.  Afterwards, I specifically requested that he do the install.  The install was scheduled several weeks later.  Unfortunately, I had to be out of town for both days of the install, but Roger coordinated with a general contractor who was taking care of a variety of other projects and it all went seamlessly.  In fact, the general contractor commented to me on how good a job Roger did and how easy he and Juli were to work with.  Roger even came back third day to install a bathroom window that could not be done  during his original visit due to tile work being done around that window - and Juli did not charge me for the extra visit.  I can't say enough good things about this company, its owner and its installers.  I highly recommend California Replacement Windows - very knowledgable, easy to work with, great price, great service and quality workmanship.

California Replacement Windows a pleasure to work with; from the initial contact at the showroom to the salesperson coming to our house to the owner completing the final measurements.  We did have an issue with the weather and had to reschedule the installation, this caused an issue with our kitchen remodel and CalRep moved some appointments around and everything worked out great.  The installation crew was great, they were on time (early) and moved quickly and professionally, they worked with us and our two indoor cats saving one room until all of the other windows were done and we could safely move them to another room; this was much appreciated.
I would not hesitate in using CalRep in the future and I would certainly recommend Roger and his installation crew!

Juli helped us pick out windows that helped remediate our glare problem and suggested that we replace our sliders with a set that gave us a little more latitude in getting a wheelchair through. Because of our desire to stagger the payments, the crews came out on three separate occasions and were very accomodating of our schedule. The workmen, lead by Roger, were quick, efficient, neat and professional. It is a big relief to have windows that not only don't stick, but are energy efficient and pretty!!
