hardwood floor
 + -1 moreArt did a great job, as he has always done for me, by brother-in-law and several friends that we've recommended him to. This is the 3rd floor that Art has installed for me between two different homes. My brother in law has had Art do the work at his own home as well as several rental properties. Art does great work at a fair price, is incredibly responsible and responsive, is on time from start to finish and deals really well with the problems that often arise when doing work on a very old house. He is also a pleasure to be around. Rare combination of a great guy who does great work. This last job was for a home we are remodeling for us to move into. While I hired a general contractor to do most of the work (new kitchen, new bathrooms, new electrical and plumbing etc) I told him I was having Art do the flooring. The two worked well together, despite my GC's initial hesitation. I highly recommend Art.
Description of Work: Art removed the old flooring, leveled the subfloor (which took quite a bit of work as the house had settled and the subfloor was in poor shape), installed the new floor and the baseboard and oiled the floor for the entire house that we remodeled.
