Please DO NOT use this rating to reflect on Sand J. I marked and quot;Band quot; ONLY because I do not think it is fair to judge a mechanic on one service for relatively few items, but I am tired of Angie's List emailing me for a review. Sand J did what they said they would for a fair price and explained the procedure. My car is an old car (1999 Camry), and they were honest about the condition of the transmission and what could be done to improve performance. They said the brakes were OK, but I did have one pair replaced several months later by a different mechanic. My only complaint is that I chose Sand J because it is close to my home and I need a ride both ways. They were fine with taking me home when I dropped off the car, but did not really want to pick me up to get the car after it was serviced. A and quot;Cand quot; on punctuality because it took longer than they said, but almost every mechanic I've used takes longer than they say they will.

This was my first time using them. They were excellent. They were very helpful. They worked around the things I needed. They went out of their way to be convenient. It was very cost effective, and a great service!
