Very responsive to come and give an estimate, seemed to know what he was doing - didn't try to talk me into stuff he didn't think I needed - scoped it out with an assistant and mapped out a plan. Reaonable price, so went for it. Showed up on time the next Monday, with his crew... They did a systematic, professional job

Arturo and his crew of four arrived exactly on time at 7:30 am. And worked steadily all morning until noon. And it was HOT. But they kept at it. No breaks. We helped by giving them bottled water. Excellent cleanup in our yard and in our neighbors. I recommend Arturo Lopez's Tree Service in Pasadena without any reservations. But I did reserve my favorite adjective for him when the job was over. VERY PROFESSIONAL! Would use them again in the bat of eyelash! Thanks, Arturo.

Arturo came out originally and did submit an estimate. After making plans with our landscaper, the tree trimming job changed so asked Arturo to come out so he could create a new estimate. Played phone tag for about a week. Then set a date. He never showed for the second appointment, and never called back thereafter. Too bad since the other reviews seemed very good.

The Lopez Tree Service were the first to respond to my calls for estimates and arranged to come over right away. The other companies I contacted wanted to wait until the next week after the holiday. They went over every aspect of the job, how it would be done and how long it would take. One of the trees hangs over my neighbors house and they explained how they would work with as little impact on the neighbor as possible. The estimate was good, against the other estimates, and they won me over with their professionalism. The day of the job, they were on time and the job was done efficiently and in the time estimated. They even cleaned my gutters for me, while they were up on the roof.

Lopez had the best estimate and was willing to schedule right away, which was a necessity because there was a large branch that had cracked and was hanging hazardously on power lines and other limbs. They arrived on time and worked tirelessly! The large pine tree turned into a much trickier prospect than Arturo had initially expected, but they handled the re-thinking with exceeding professionalism. It was such a big job I felt guilty about it, so I iced down a bunch of Gatorade for the guys! :) Their work was excellent, the men were professional and so courteous, and the price was very competitive. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone need tree services - they were awesome!

I received an estimate on the very day I called and work was scheduled on a day of the week that was most convenient for me. Arturo is really an amazingly sharp, hard working, organized and competent young man. We negotiated a price that was totally fair to me for the amount of time the job took and for the amount of debris to be hauled off I was provided a detailed work order to sign off on and to check at the end of the job. He was on time for both the estimate visit and for the the start of work. His workers were on time and worked hard and Arturo was on site working with his men. I will use Arturo again and recommend his work without reservation!

O-U-T-S-T-A-N-D-I-N-G!!!! I had a palm that was hitting my power lines and called 3-4 people and Arturo called the SAME day and said he could be there later THAT AFTERNOON because he wanted the business. He was TOTALLY professional, very knowledgeable, and was very reasonable with the price. Also folks, HE IS AN ARBORIST too and showed me his certification license as well. Overall, I could not have had a better experience...him and his team (his father included!) are very nice, they clean up, are extremely friendly, and are EXCELLENT at what they do. I will most likely not use anyone else anymore for my tree needs. Thank you again Arturo!

Arturo responded quickly to a request for a quote, and performed the requested service within a week. He and his crew were punctual, courteous and did an excellent job of thinning and cleaning up debris. At my request, they mulched the trimmings and left a large pile of it for use in my garden. Arturo is knowledgeable about his field of work, and his company provided excellent service!

Owner and workers came on time; good equipment and knowledge of trees, plants and safety. They were careful to avoid trodding on planting under the trees. They left the area clean. They did more than expected. I would definitely call Arturo Lopez Tree Service in the future.

I left messages for several tree companies on Angie's List and Arturo called me back almost immediately. I needed the work done relatively quickly. The best day for me was Sunday so Arturo came out on that Sunday to look at the tree and gave me a written estimate on the spot. He was very professional, on time, plus his company is bonded and insured. His price was comparable to other quotes I later received. I felt the most comfortable with Arturo. I'm glad I followed my gut feeling.

This is an excellent tree service company. Arturo Lopez is the owner and works right along with the crew. He is friendly, professional and most of all, provides OUTSTANDING customer service. He addresses questions before and while work is in progress and cooperates fully with the client. The crew arrived on time and worked efficiently to remove the trees and the stumps (less than 3 hours). The trimming was done exactly as I requested and clean up was thorough including the cleaning of the neighbors' yards. Lopez Tree Service did an excellent job for me. I recommend them highly.

Project went very well. Very professional. Matched other prices. Paid attention to details. Lopez Tree Service was not the first quote I received (probably the fourth), but the general attitude and reputation on Craig's list impressed me. Did not disappoint.

We were extremely pleased with the professionalism of the work and the service. The price was very fair for the amount of work involved, and the cleanup was impeccable. Arturo and his crew agreed to do the job on short notice, although they were very busy, because we had severe scheduling constraints. They squeezed us in on a busy Saturday and completed the job in under 90 minutes. They arrived about an hour later than their estimated arrival time but, given the situation described above, we have no complaints whatsoever and were grateful to get the work done so quickly. Arturo understood a lot about trees, their growth habits and needs etc.

Arturo came by and gave me a free estimate and we made an appointment for him to come by and do the work a week later. He and his crew arrived early this morning. They cut down a pomegranate tree and a fig tree and then went to work on the vines and brush on the hill. These were very thick, overgrown vines that were all tangled up. We bought the house a little over a year ago and I don't think these plants had been touched in years. When they finished the back they removed a tree in the front yard that was causing our driveway to raise up. They worked most of the day and finished at around 4:00PM. They did a very good job of cleaning up. I would definitely call them again. I felt that the price was very reasonable considering the amount of work they had to do.

Arturo came to my residence on Good Friday to give me an estimate for the trimming of 3 trees and 3 bushes and to remove all debris. We agreed on the work to be done the following week. He and his crew arrived on time. Arturo and his father are very knowledgable on the work that needs to be done and will make recommendations based on what is good for the trees and not just to make money. Arturo was one of 3 tree specialists who quoted are job. He listened carefully to our needs and made recommendations on how to best achieve our trimming goals within our budget. actually The crew arrived on time (early), but courteously waited until we were up and about before starting the job. The crew worked quickly and efficiently. The site was also cleaned very nicely after the job was completed. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Lopez Tree Service and I will definitely use them again.

He was a pretty good guy, but wasn?t a certified arborist. He was responsive and came right away as soon as I contacted him. His prices were reasonable and I would have used him if he was certified. He was quite professional and everything was a go ahead if not for the certification.

It has been great. They came by and gave an estimate. They set up an appointment, but it was raining, so they called and rescheduled. They were here when they said and did a good job.

I was really satisfied with his work. He did a terrific job: he did it on time, on budget, and every efficiently.

They were very friendly but the price seemed a little high for us. We also wanted him to look at a hole that we had in a mulberry but he hasn?t completed the arborist test so he would have had to call in another person.

He had the highest rating on Angie's List. He was licensed, insured and bonded and that was important to me. He didn't respond to my email right away. He came for the work, his father was here and it was a small crew. He was doing work in the same neighborhood and both of the jobs he had that day were both Angie's List clients. He agreed to meet the price that I had been paying my previous tree trimmers, originally he quoted me $675. By and large his job was neat and clean, they cleaned up after themselves. They didn't really trim the tree the way I wanted it trimmed. They asked me how I liked it and I told them it needed more trimming so they got out of the truck and worked on it some more. It didn't have the symmetry that I wanted it to so I ended up going out there and doing some trimming myself which I've never had to do before. To some extent I was a little disappointed. The person I plan to go with next time talks more like an artist and I like that attitude.

They did a very good job; they were fast and efficient. They knew their stuff and they were good enough for me to refer them to a friend. I was discouraged by the price until I saw them do the work and I could see why they charged that. They have a large crew and they do it fast.

Arturo is easy to talk to, and shows a great deal of knowledge of trees, and that's what we need. We have quite a few old trees on our lot, and we had let them go for a long time. We needed major work. Most of the work was done at heights of 30+ feet, and with ropes. I couldn't believe how seamlessly it went. Over the last 30 we had had others come in to do tree work, but not only was Lopez the least expensive, they took care of our plants and house, with all that heavy work going on. We found Lopez Tree Service on Angie's List and gave them a call. Arturo immediately returned the call, came to assess the situation (originally, just the tree removal) and gave us a bid. While discussing the job I inquired about adding the trimming of the bush and the clean-up of the giant bird of paradise to the job. Arturo and his crew arrived promptly at the time and date promised. The work was done professionally and certainly to satisfaction. The clean up was fantastic. I highly recommend Lopez Tree Service. The overall experience was exceptional.
