All staff were professional and on-time. Although I was using an Angie's deal this in no way decreased the level of service that was provided. I was so pleased I continue to use them for tree service.

Company did NOT respond after the quote i believe because I purchased one of your Big Deals for Lopez Tree Service which would have discounted the quote he gave me. After several emails and phone calls, Mr. Lopez waited out until my deal purchased expired. Even asked me to send a scanned copy of the quote he originally gave me. Said he could not find it. He was very quick to give me a quote at my home, wanted to schedule, but with the coupon I had purchase I completely fell off his radar. I finally called Angies List to get my refund. I contracted Everest Tree Service and got a much better quote and great work.

They did a great job and were very professional and polite. They finished all the work in less than 6 hours. Would definitely use them again.

I live 400 miles from this location so Arturo and I worked out a tentative schedule which we changed to meet both our schedules. He is very accommodating and spent time communicating by cell so I knew what was happening and when it happened.

I had a 15 foot banana tree fall in my backyard 2 days ago. I called at least 4 different companies to get a quote to remove it and remove the stump, but no one seemed to return my call with the exception of a larger company and Arturo from Lopez Tree Service. Arturo came out this morning and gave me a quote and by 2:00 this afternoon, it was done. They did a great job and Arturo was very professional and did everything he said he would. I would definitely use them again

Looking in the back yard, it's difficult to tell where the trees were. Despite me being the difficult customer (asking for the work to start, then delaying it for a couple of weeks), he dealt with it fluidly, started as soon as I gave the go-ahead, and finished almost immediately. Highly recommended, especially if you're in or near Altadena.

They carefully trimmed 3 overgrown trees; 2 in front and a huge pepper tree in back as well as random branches of other trees that would cause future problems. They were here for half a day and they cleaned up after themselves perfectly

I called Lopez Tree Service for an estimate after reading reviews on Angie's List. Arturo called me back, and was very pleasant to speak with and, so, I scheduled an appointment for an estimate for the above job. My initial meeting couldn't have gone better. He was kind enough to offer his opinion, but made it clear that he would do what I requested. I took his opinion as he is very knowlegable. I was surprised and pleased with his estimate, as this is my second time having to cut the Ash and Jacareinda trees. The Pine tree was a challenging job, as it is located right in-between two properties and growing into the power lines. Arturo didn't seem worried about the job, he actually took the time to explain the steps involved with this. He reassured me that my neighbors property would be fine. What I loved also, was that he informed me that either he or his father would be on site throughout the day. Also, that my property was left totally clean. I have already spoken to my mother about him, and she plans to call Arturo for an estimate for her own house. And I will definately keep his card for the future!

The work was done in one day. My yard was left very clean. The crew went waybeyond the call of duty. The cost of the job was very reasonable. Arturo Lopez was very professional and informative. He listens and is very patient. I will be calling his service again in the future.

Lopez tree service arrived on time. Arturo and I walked the job site and discussed what needed to be done. His crew got to work immediately. The Hibiscus and Magnolia trees were down in minutes and the stumps were ground down soon after. The five oaks were trimmed beautifully. All of the dead wood within the trees was carefully removed leaving the canopy intact. The ash tree and catalina cherry were topped off and reduced in size so that I could manage the maintenance myself. The entire job site was cleaned up as if no one had been there. Arturo then walked me through the job explaining what they had done making sure I was satisfied. I am very satisfied with there work and would definitely use them again.

Arturo and his team did a great job of trimming the trees and they have matured beautifully.

I contacted Arturo Lopez and he was very pleasant and took my information and quickly came and gave me an estimate for the work. He advised me on some things, such as keeping the root system in tact so as to avoid hill slides in the future instead of increasing the price and removing everything. We scheduled a date and Arturo contacted me as discussed and even when running a little early called to ask if it was ok to come then. This professionalism is something rare these days and I was very impressed with this young man and his business sense. The crew arrived on time, cleaned the hill, shaped the trees that were to remain and also did an excellent job of clean up.

From the first contact Lopez Tree Service was very professional and punctual. They gave a reasonable estimate and explained in detail what needed to be done. They were respectful of my work schedule and showed up early in the morning. Everything was cleaned up when I returned from work.

Arturo was prompt and very attentive to details explaining what was to be done during the initial visit. The morning of the trimming the entire crew was on time with Arturo supervising the work. They did a great job trimming and cleaning up. We are very happy and will use him in the future.

We worked with our neighbor about lowering the height on an Italian cypress on his property that was blocking the solar panels toward the end of the day on the west side of the house. Arturo was chosen because he has arborist services. My neighbor also decided to have him examine a pine tree in their front yard. My husband and my neighbor felt comfortable with Arturo. The crew came out and cleaned up the neighbor's tree (it was amazing) and lowered the cypress but at the time, we felt it wasn't low enough. We waited to see how the shadow fell on the solar panels and discovered the electricity stopped generating in late day when two panels are shadowed. My husband called Arturo back and explained the situation. Arturo asked him to call back to remind him and he would try and find an opening in the schedule.We wondered if he was just evading us but we did as he asked. We called and he always answered the calls and explained the situation. He didn't return the last call but then he came the next day and completed the final take down. It took about two weeks and a couple of reminder calls but Arturo regained our trust in his word. He said he would return and he did. When he meets you, he comes right up to you and thanks you for your patience. His prices might seem a little higher but his work is professional, and efficient. He doesn't have a million guys working in and around your yard like some other outfits we have had. He is very busy and proud of his work and his treatment of his customers is very good. He does give you a written estimate. He does answer your calls. His crew cleans up their work.We are very satisfied and would recommend his service

They were very good about getting back to me whenever I called. Arturo was great about answering all of my questions during the estimate meeting and promptly giving me a breakdown. Their prices were comparable to other companies I received estimates from and didn't have any hidden costs. Some companies gave me estimates that had a "plus disposal" cost that they weren't able to be specific about. It took a while to actually schedule the work, but I had more success with them than with other companies I've worked with. The crew was prompt, efficient and left the site completely clean. They were also good about hand digging around the sprinkler system. Our only complaint was that the holes were not completely filled in and there are some roots that they missed.

Arturo was extremely courteous, professional, and punctual. For that matter, he arrived exactly on time to give an estimate, as well as showing up at the agreed upon time for the work. The job consisted primarily of removing a huge Bougainvillea bush, which was more like a very thick tree taking over the back portion of our yard. As a neighbor had spotted a rat going into the bush, we decided to have it removed at once. Arturo showed up with three other workers from his company, along with two very large trucks. Although the temperatures were touching triple digits, Arturo and his workers went right work. Houdini could not have done a better job of making this massive bougainvillea disappear! Within 15-minutes, the tree/bush was gone, the root was removed, and our yard was cleaned spotless. I’m still not sure how Arturo and his workers completed this job so quickly and efficiently.

I met with the owner on a Friday evening about trimming a gigantic Ficus encroaching on our property. They came out the following Monday and completed the job quickly and thoroughly. I was very impressed. Arturo is a licensed Arborist and is very knowledgeable and honest. He didn’t try to up sell his services. When asking him about what to do about other trees on my property he advised not to trim them because it didn’t need it. I could see where others would have taken advantage of the situation just to make more money. I had two other bids, one uninsured and Lopez was still the cheapest. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

After looking at all the tree trimming companies listed on Angie's we contacted Arturo for three reasons. First he had great reviews, second he was an arborist and third he has workmans comp insurance for his employees. I first left a message for Arturo on Tuesday. After several missed messages, we finally spoke on Wednesday. He was in the area on Thursday morning and we agreed to meet at 8am. The job was very small. We just needed to have some branches from our neighbors tree cut that were hanging over the fence about 4 feet and 8 to 11 feet up. If left unattended they would eventually touch the roof and power lines. He took one look at the situation, gave us a great price and did the job himself in about an hour. We were very surprised and extremely grateful. We had anticipated that he would have to bring his crew back to do the work, which would take some time. Instead he decided to do the work himself! We would definitely hire Arturo again to trim any of the trees on our property.

The Lopez Tree Service performed in an entirely professional and efficient manner. Arturo Lopez knows his business: he can name the trees and knows how each genus and species ought be cared for. Although I had specified that my Carolina Cherry hedge be cut back sharply, Arturo Lopez showed me that doing so would compromise the health of the trees, something that I much appreciated (and in the end we both agreed to trim them back a bit less). Experts are hard to find. So next time that I need an arborist's services, I will seek out Arturo Lopez's advice once again. Highly recommended.

I thought he was great. He was very knowledgeable and professional. His price was very reasonable. He did a very good job.

Mr. Lopez arrived for the appointment to evaluate my needs at the exact appointment time. We discussed my long range needs and I told him I planned to either sell or rent my home in 5 years. Mr. Lopez, who seemed extremely knowledgeable about my various trees, suggested I wait until the fall prior to my move and have the trees done at that time. He said that most of the trees could wait and told me which trees I could easily trim immediately. He carefully explained the exact way to trim them, which tools, and spent about an hour instructing me. He told me that if he performed the tree trimming I had originally wanted the trees would need to be done again in 2 to 3 years because of the new growth that would result from the trimming. It took me about 3 hours to do the trimming he recommended and it was a breeze. You've got to love a man that puts the customer's needs before his own desire for money. I will definitely hire Lopez Tree service before my move!! He refunded my money immediately.

I had to coordinate them with my gutter installers and they showed up promptly to remove the limb from the orange tree. By noon they had trimmed the Magnolia and removed twp Camellia's.
