They showed up on the agreed time. They were ready to go and started immediately. The job was finished in the estimated time. They cleaned my yard and roof of any leftover debris. I will have them back in the future.

I called Lopez Tree Service and left a message and Arturo (the son) called back promptly and arranged to come by to give an estimate. I explained what I needed to be done and that I was impressed by the reviews and signed the conract that day. We had one postponement due to the rain. Arturo and his crew arrived shortly after 7AM and Arturo told me the work would take about 5 hours. Arturo showed my what had been done and why. They cleaned up everything before noon. I was impressed by the way the crew worked and the overall job they did. I plan to have them come back to do the Tangerine tree after all the fruit is gone.

Well...he is responsive, but 50% more expensive than 2 of the 4 bids I got.

Went very well. I had to leave for work before they had finished trimming the trees. The yard was neatly cleaned up and all work had been completed. Arturo called the next day to be sure that everything was ok and we were happy with the job. I assured him we were and I put the payment in the mail. Arturo was very easy to communicate with via phone and email. His price was reasonable and he is bonded/insured. I would recommend his company for anyone needing tree trimming.

I bought my house with an overgrown Chinese elm in the front and another in the back that had roots which were starting to damage the foundation. Arturo, Jr. gave me a thorough estimate, and after checking out a few other tree service companies, Lopez had the most competitive quote. The date of the service had to be moved because of the holidays and winter rains, but Lopez Tree Service went out of their way to make the second date, and even added crewmembers to the job to finish that day. (All throughout, Arturo was easy to communicate with, and always got back to my calls or emails within 24 hours.) The day that job was done, they crew finished on time, the tree up front is very professionally trimmed, and the rear tree cut down to the stump. My hassles with mountains of shedding leaves are gone, and the dangerous broken branch on the front tree is gone. Clean up was impressive -- they left my property looking better than it was when they came. I'll definitely use them in a few years when the front tree needs trimming again.

I was concerned that this tree would fall on the sidewalk at any time. I contacted Lopez Tree Service from my office in the morning. The tree was removed before I arrived home in the afternoon. I was really pleased with the quick response and great clean up.

They were an excellent company to deal with. They were professional, diligent, and cleaned up after themselves, which was awesome. They did an amazing job. He was really easy to talk too. He made sure we understood what he was talking about and if we had any questions. He was careful about safety issues. He told us that if we needed to talk to them while they were working, we needed to make sure that they saw us before we came to them to make sure that we were safe, I thought that was pretty neat.

They came on time, did their work, cleaned up and left. I had them do some additional pruning - the cost was minimal and the job efficient.

I WAS NOT NOT ABLE TO SCHEDULE THE WORK UNTIL 2/21/12 DUE TO DAMAGE IN PASADENA FROM A WIND STORM IN 11/11. ARTURO AND CREW ARRIVED ON TIME AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB TRIMMING AND BALANCING THE TREE. ALL OF THE TRIMMINGS WERE CLEANED UP.

The crews work methodically to bring down 2 big trees in a very tight spaces. And they also trim 4 other trees. Overall the job was done quickly, very clean and neat. Will definitely call Lopez again. The tree trimming was done correctly.

I reached out to them and they responded very promptly. However, I was outside of their normal service area so I had to get the deal refunded through Angie's List.

We had a big beautiful Coast Live Oak that had been decimated by boring bark beetles. The tree unfortunately could not be saved and was condemned and had to be removed. I called several companies about the removal. When I met with Arturo regarding the job I was impressed by both his knowledge of his field and his empathy for our difficult situation. My only concern was that his company's service might be on the higher end of the estimate I had received. Instead they had a very reasonable price on the lower end. For a very unpleasant situation, Arturo and his staff made it as pleasant as possible. They were prompt and did a dangerous job as carefully and safely as I can imagine. He and the company know their craft and perform it efficiently and professionally. I have seen elsewhere that the only complaint some folks have is getting prompt call backs. I felt he always called me back in a timely fashion and folks should keep in mind he's not sitting behind some desk fielding phone calls he's out at every job site managing it and performing a significant portion of the labor himself. Have a little patience. I would easily hire them again if I was in need of their services and have no reservations recommending them to others.

Great experience from start to finish. Arturo told us what we should do and what wasn't worth doing, told me in advance how the work should be done and then I saw it happen with my own eyes. They came when they said, were done when they said, and did a great job cleaning up. Our roof is cement tile, and I always worry about tiles getting broken by workers who don't realize they need to stay off the tiles, but Arturo knew that without me saying anything. We have had our trees trimmed every few years and they've never looked so good. They did such a natural job with the Chinese elm I almost didn't notice it, until I realized how clean and natural it looked. The whole team doing the work were clearly experienced at their jobs. I will definitely use them again. I rated the price a B because they weren't cheap, but they weren't expensive either. Their price was about what I expected it to be, and I rate them high on value, meaning they did a better job than our previous trimmers at a comparable price.

An estimate was received, but vendor unable to perform service within my time schedule.

Our most of the day experience with Arturo's team was professional and friendly. He listened well, paid attention to most details, his advice was quite helpful, and the finished job looks as nice as we'd hoped. The trees all seem to be thriving. We will choose his team again when we need more tree work, prehaps in the next year or two. The cost was $600 more than our second choice, and definetely worth the extra money.

Professional, quality, enthusiastic service

Called for an estimate and the owner came to the house that afternoon to give an estimate. He said that he would come the next afternoon if they finished another job early. I said that Tuesday of the following week would be good if they could not make it the following day. On Tuesday, no one came or called. I left a voice mail message asking him to call back to let me know when he planned to come. I did not receive a call back for ten days. When he did call back, he said that they would be over the next afternoon. A crew arrived the next day as promised. They were very fast and yet the trees looked good afterward and the areas around the trees were cleaned up. i would recommend them.

Autoro came to give me a bid and I was totally impressed with his knowledge. Once we agreed on the price I signed the contract. I was told that the work would be done within a two week window. I wasn't in any huge hurry so the suggested time table was fine. They had suggested a specific date but had to reschedule due to emergency tree removal. They called explained the situation and of course I understood that emergencies take priority. Felt like I was treated in a professional manner thru the entire process. They did an excellent job of trimming the trees. It was obvious that they knew what they were doing by the final product. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

After I called and left a message on a Sunday, they called me back first thing Monday morning. They gave me an appointment, for an estimate, within a couple of days. The price they quoted was less than I had anticipated. They came back a couple of days later and performed the work while I was not home (as agreed upon.) Once home, I inspected the work, and found that they had done an excellent job, meaning my roots were gone but my sprinkler system wasn't! ;) The next day, I put a check in the mail. I have used the services of a number of people for my 1925 house. This was by far the easiest experience. In conclusion, an excellent price for excellent work with excellent customer service!
