They showed up on time, performed the work promised, clean their mess and took all the debris. Everyone was polite and very nice. Overall, a very professional job.

We needed to remove a large ivy plant that had taken root and covered our front porch. It involved cutting down the trunk of the plant but not removing the stump. Lopez Tree Service came by promptly to bid on the project. Their bid was the same as another company, and they were available to do the work immediately, so we went with them. We were pleased with the results and would contact them again for a bid if we have tree service needs.

I got three competitive bids, but chose Lopez Tree Service for a couple of reasons. The owner, Arturo Lopez, is a certified arborist who clearly knows and cares about trees. While walking my yard, he offered a number of suggestions beyond the scope of his work for improving the health of my old, struggling fruit trees. Also, unlike some other companies whose owners arrive at the job site, get the crew started, and leave, it's their company policy for either Arturo or his father to stay for the duration and make sure everything is done right. The positive first impression I had was borne out throughout the job: the crew arrived on time, was careful, pleasant and efficient, and cleaned up well afterward. There was good communication throughout, and my trees look great. I'll definitely use Lopez Tree Service again.

They were efficient, clean and and did a great job surgically on my trees. The were on time and very neat. They spent a long time on my trees and listened to my concerns.

Everything went fantastically!! Arturo (Jr.) returned our call back for an estimate on the job, and gave us a very clear proposal. We had two other estimates done since the job was a difficult one with the eucalyptus tree being extremely tall. The first estimate was double of Arturo's, plus the arborist did not display the kind of confidence that Arturo had. The third estimate was a little lower than Arturo's but we decided to go with Arturo. On the day of the job, Arturo Sr. and two of their men came at 7:00am as promised, and wasted no time. We even had a last minute addition to the job, and they didn't even blink an eye to it. They worked hard all day (till 6:00pm - since that is how long it took to work on the eucalyptus) and left our property very clean. Arturo Jr. came in to inspect the finished work just as the crew were leaving, which was above our expectation. Our eucalyptus tree looks amazingly beautiful, and our front and back yard is looking like what we want it to be so that we can start landscaping it to our liking. From now on Arturo and his crew will be our go to people for all our tree needs (since we have a property full of trees). We recommend Lopez Tree Service with no hesitation at all, and will be singing their praises to neighbors and friends in our area.

Lopez Tree Service are great. He was on time, did the work pretty quick and was reasonable. He's a nice guy you like to do business with. He's very personable and returns your calls. You feel the information he's giving you is correct. After interviewing a few other people, I was happy with him.

100% happy and looking forward to hiring them again. Here are a few reasons why: ? VERY punctual for arrival times, both for giving the estimate and for day of service. ? Price was very fair and reasonable for the amount of work done. (We had 3 estimates) ? Clear, itemized estimate. Super professional. Answered all our questions very well. ? Always available by cell phone or e-mail and quick to return voice-mails. ? Crew arrived on time and were quick and efficient. ? One of the owners (father and/or son) was on the job both supervising and working! A great example for the entire crew. ? Certified Arborist ? All workers professional tree-trimmers ? AMAZING clean-up. The amount of leaves and branches all over the yard when I left for work was incredible. A foot or more high over the entire yard and they still needed to cut down the 3 ficus trees. When I came home from work the yard was SPOTLESS! I was so happy. They even cleaned up leaves and debris they didn't have to.

Great! This company had trimmed my trees before and I really liked them. It is especially nice that they have an arborist. Arturo came out to look at my trees. I wanted to know if they needed to be trimmed. He said they looked good, that there is always something that can be cut, but nothing needed to be done. It could even shock the trees if cut too often. There was one little dead branch, but he said it was not in danger of falling. He said to call him back next January and he'll check them again I like that he didn't sell me something that wasn't needed.

Mr. Lopez was very quick to come out & give us an estimate. During the consultation process he also gave us some very good pointers on how to slow down the aging of one of the trees in particular which we took him up on. Once we were able to get an appointment, he came out with two crew members. Mr. Lopez supervised while his two crew members worked on the trees. We've had tree service before from other providers and those looked like "hack" jobs - work so bad you wanted to cry. This job was so beautiful! The trees were cleaned up and they absolutely kept the integrity of the tree.

Found this business on Angie's List and am very pleased with the results. Even though I had used another tree trimming service in the past (which I was happy with), I decided to give Lopez Tree Service a try because of their great reviews and professionalism. Arturo (son) was very responsive, friendly, and did not mind that I had many questions and concerns. I am very happy with the customer service/satisfaction of this company and felt Arturo was easy to work with. All of my phone calls were returned and Arturo showed up when he said he would. When he could not make his initial appointment to give me an estimate, he called me in advance to reschedule, saying he valued my time. He was flexible with my schedule and performed all work well, leaving the job site clean. What impressed me the most is that he works alongside his crew instead of just sitting in his truck supervising.

Needed a rubber tree removed from yard as roots growing under house foundation. The crew of four arrived on time with all necessary equipment and started to work at 7:00a.m. They all worked carefully and safely. Was amazed at how quickly the tree was removed and the the stump ground down. They finished around 4:30 and cleaned up everything. They also did some extra work not in original estimate and trimmed another tree over the gate. I would definitely call them again for any tree problems.

He appears to be overloaded with work. I felt he was very professional but I had a hard time getting hold of him.

Arturo was absolutely great to work with. He promptly replied to all my questions and kept me abreast of the conversations he had with my tenants. I live in Colorado and the work was being done at my rental property in California, so all our communications were via phone and email. While I was not physically there when the work was done, my renter stated that the crew arrived on time,were efficient and did a great job in cleaning up after the work was done.

I had a large Sycamore tree in my back yard that both shaded the roof of my garage and my back lawn. Although it was a beautiful tree, I am considering installing solar panels on my garage, and the tree shades a good portion of the roof where I would be installing panels. I wanted more sunlight in my back yard anyway, so I started looking for a company to remove the tree. I called a couple of tree services that were recommended here on Angie's List, and after I spoke on the phone with Arturo, I felt very comfortable with him and set an appointment for them to come out, see the tree I wanted removed and give me a written estimate. Arturo (the son) came out, gave me a bid, answered all of my questions about how long it would take, how they did it, etc. The bid was reasonable, and I got a 10% discount for finding them on Angie's List. They also recommended some smaller replacement trees that wouldn't grow tall enough to shade the roof, as well as the nursery they use for their trees. Very helpful. I scheduled the work, and it went beautifully. Arturo's (the dad) was the lead on the crew and they were very professional, friendly and conscientious. A length of PVC pipe had to be severed to remove the tree (Arturo asked permission first).After the tree and stump/roots were removed Arturo located a length of PVC and replaced the broken piece at no charge. They were done in a about 4 hours and cleaned up after themselves throughly. Friendly, professional, knowledgable, capable. I would definitely use Lopez Tree Service again.

Arturo showed up for our initial appointment early simply so he could assess the tree -- then, at the appointed time, he came to the door prepared with various options. He was willing to do whatever I wanted done, but he also offered his suggestion that we trim and thin the tree -- not butcher the tree as a previous tree trimmer had done. The previous trim on the tree had been so excessive, leaving it largely a stump, that the growth quickly became unmanageable and unwieldy. The trim that Arturo performed was designed to allow light to reach my lawn, but without stressing the tree by overpruning it. It still looks like the large beautiful tree it was meant to be, while allowing sunlight into a very shady space. He was polite, courteous and explained my various options -- and the nature of the tree itself -- thoroughly. He was obviously an expert on trees, not simply someone who cuts limbs off of them. Further, the cleanup was superb. There were no excessive branches, leaves or twigs anywhere on the property when he was done, only a little bit of sawdust amid the grass.

We got estimates from other companies that were a little lower but wanted to go with Arturo because we really liked his energy. So I called again a few days later hoping to finalize it. He didn't return this call until days later. Finally when we connected, I asked if he can give a little discount. He said he would check the estimate paper work and call me back. That's the last we heard from him. I was going to call again but thought we shouldn't have to chase him. So we're going with someone else. It's really annoying when companies don't call you back. Even if they don't want your work, they can easily send a text telling you that. Another Angie's List tree trimmer doesn't work in my area but returned my call within an hour to explain that. I left him great reviews for being courteous.

Lopez Tree Service was great!! I had a very good interview with Arturo, the owner, who explained everything that he needed to do to remove the trees in question. We had concerns about the neighbors' property, gas and water lines, cleanup, new fencing, etc. Arturo kept his promise and did everything he said he would do. He gave me quote on the spot. He arrived early with a crew of 7 and got right to work. His men work quickly and are very neat considering the job they had. Their cleanup was great and they were finished in about 4 1/2 hours! They worked hard, were careful, and even had time to help one of my neighbors with something in her yard! I can't say enough good things about Arturo, also a licensed arborist, and Lopez Tree Service. He is a 'people person', knows his stuff, uses clean and efficient equipment and trucks, his crew dresses in bright orange shirts (which makes them very easy to spot while working in the trees), and the whole experience was wonderful!! Our front and back areas look super and we thank Arturo Lopez and Lopez Tree Service. You can't go wrong with this company.

Excellent customer service. Quick to respond for a request for an estimate. Arrived on time to provide estimate. Detailed written estimate received. Work performed as requested on the scheduled day. They are quick, clean, professional. Very happy!

Arturo Lopez, the owner of this company, is an extremely energetic, enthusiastic and thoughtful professional arborist. He returned my first call within a day, made a date to come over for the estimate and appeared as arranged. He had been held up 15 minutes in traffic and called to say he would be late. During the estimating and during the whole job he was very open to discussing details. For the job itself, he showed up on time with a two-man crew, he himself being the third crew member. Evidently either he or, for another crew, his second in command is present throughout the entire job. They were very careful to get various pots and a small birdbath put out of the way, and cones were placed over vertical sprinkler pipes. The cutting was done very carefully, with "lacing" throughout rather than just lopping things off. Whenever anything struck my or my wife's eye as to needing a little extra trimming, it was done cheerfully. A couple of things came up where we wanted something done and Arturo explained that it would not be good for the trees and/or ultimately would look very bad (but he would do it if we insisted....which we did not). The job was done beautifully and the cleanup was superb.

They did a good job. The tree is gone. To the best of my memory.

I met with Arturo Lopez to get an estimate on a palm tree leaning towards the house. It is VIP to me that Lopez Tree Service is bonded and licensed and Arturo Lopez is a certified arborist, because the palm tree could fall on the house causing damage. Arturo was present when the palm tree and roots were removed. Cleanup was perfect. He acted professionally, he was on time, and he was very knowledgeable ... a pleasure to do business with.

Arturo came out to provide analysis and give an estimate. He arrived on time as scheduled and was very thorough on options. We made arrangements by phone for the work to be done. They arrived on time and performed the work excellent and cleaned up so well that the only way to tell they were there was by looking at the tree! There was no evidence of debris left.

They were very responsive and they knew what they were doing. I was happy that he was an arborist as well as a tree trimmer, so he was licensed and bonded and had further training besides. They did a nice job shaping the tree. I had 3 companies come out and look and they were the best.
