He never provided us with a written estimate. He walked out on the job and left everything a mess. He took a lot of money from us and didn't do the work, what he did do was not done correctly. For instance, he painted some of our windows and refused to take the tape off of the windows after painting them. We had to hire another contractor to repair the damage that he did. He is a crook. He asked for half of the money on the day that we agreed to do business, which was the day that he gave us an estimate. He cashed that check immediately. That really concerned us, because he said he wouldn't be able to come do the work for 4 or 5 days. I am blind and so I had no idea that the job was being done so poorly. My wife didn't know what to do about the poor quality of work, and I wasn't aware of her feelings and stress until after I paid him. He took advantage of me and my wife. I tried to be honest with him and explain our dissatisfaction, I tried to reach him right away and when I finally did get in touch with him, he basically told me to go to h***. He is not a licensed contractor, which means he is not supposed to take on jobs larger than $500.00. He is breaking the law.
