First of all he agreed to do the work for 17,495 in trade for HVAC that he needed for his building. He changed his mind a month after we were 90% invested in his project and raised the price to 19,875 which we told him we would not sign his contract as that was NOT what we agreed to. It took him 7 months to do a 2 week job and he abandoned the project without completing it. 90% of my existing plants were killed and water was never hooked up to an entire section. We have one water feature that looks terrible and the lighting was never completed. With his lack of ethics and shoddy workmanship, we will never do business with him again. He owes us $1550.00 (which we said we would take store credit) and before going to small claims, I thought I would try to see what you could do to help mitigate our loss.
