I have been going to Jiffy Lubes for a number of years, because they are fast, have coupons that make them less expensive, and I like the employees. That being said, the one in Aliso Viejo was terrible for me. I went in for a $10 oil change, and he asked if I wanted my air filters, and I said okay, and then he said do you want your fluids change because they need to be, and I said okay. Later on he said he was done, and came out with a 200 bill. I told him dont you think you tell the cost of the service if its 1) expensive, and 2) if there is cost to begin? I mean a lot of thing they will do for free such as check air pressure, refill washer fluids, check coolant levels, etc. Anyways I dont think they did a bad job on the actual parts, and I have learned to ask for every single detail and its cost, but I wish I could have trust to tell me if it was going to cost so much.
