I emphasized that I wanted amazing lighting in my kitchen so that I can actually see what I am cooking. The low-light ambiance is for the dining room. Metallics are really hot right now so I opted for the stainless steel and copper finish. The mixture of metal finishes looks extremely high-end. JH Custom Homes Inc helped me choose the state-of-the art fridge, oven and dishwasher that I wanted, up-to-date technology such as sub-zero, whirlpool, custom electric ranges, and smart-touch faucets. 
In addition to appliances, I requested custom matching handles on everything. I got to choose what I wanted and since I have no kids I chose sleek chic stainless steel handles. From the initial consultation with the owner James Hooper to finish the turn-around time was under 3 weeks. The team did not slack at all and were very professional (they are licensed), sticking to our agreed upon schedule.

We hired James (James Hooper, the "JH" in JH Custom Homes) to remodel the laundry room in our new home. The old one was poorly laid out and had no useful storage space. He measured carefully and spent quite some time discussing the details of what we wanted before giving us an estimate, which we accepted. It took him about a week to complete the job to his (and our) satisfaction, which I think is a bit longer than he'd planned because he's a perfectionist! The job included demolishing the old cabinets, opening up the walls and relocating the utilities, installing tile in the piece of floor that had been previously been under the cabinets, hanging the new cabinets, installing the new sink where the washer had previously been, and painting the whole thing. As the resident laundry goddess, I am much happier with the new arrangement and with the quality of James' work. We already have him lined up to make some other improvements around here!

I was driving through Dana Point & came across a remodeling project. I stopped & asked for a business card & James Hooper, the owner, took a few moments to answer my questions in regards to my own remodeling project.  We made an appointment to meet at my house a few days later.  He then gave us a written estimate & after comparing it to the other couple estimates we got, my husband & I decided to move forward with his company.  We enjoyed his personality & felt he was trustworthy not to mention, his references came back great!   He was able to refer us to his architect for design who was also a pleasure to work with & satisfied our needs.  James took care of supplying city permits & the whole design & permit process moved so quickly that before we knew it our entire room addition & remodel was underway.   James was on the job everyday working & over-seeing the project so everything ran smoothly from beginning to end.  There was always open communicating with myself & my husband so we always felt included in the process which was very comforting.  James & his crew kept the job clean by sweeping up & picking up tools & material every day & the workmanship & pride they took in their work was excellent.  Ultimately, the attention to detail created a great finished job which we were very satisfied with.   I have been referring and will keep referring JH Custom Homes Inc. for time to come.   Thanks Again James for a job well done.
