We noticed the leak on Sunday morning. Joe came out on Sunday afternoon, which was more than expected. He quickly and professionally fixed the leak. Great attitude.

He did partial repair on the first toilet, a "low boy," and said it would be too expensive to repair the slow leak completely. The second needed a new flapper. He did not have the part on his truck. Part was not at Home Depot. He went to Irvine and got a similar part, which did not work. We ordered the part on line, which has not come yet. Nice man, good try, but "no banana."

It was July 4th and my laundry room flex faucet wouldn't stop running. I thought it was broken so I tried to close the valve leading to it located under the sink. The quarter-turn knob was corroded and broke off when I attempted this causing water to shoot out of this broken valve, so I had to turn off the whole house main water valve and was now without water throughout the house. I called a number of plumbers but all either wouldn't see me until after the holiday the following day, or wanted to charge me an arm and a leg to come out the same day. I found Joe at America's Plumbing online who was well reviewed, and then discovered why. He was at my house within a few hours on a holiday, replaced the broken valve and the adjacent one as well, and did so very professionally and at a reasonable price without any holiday or same day surcharge. He also fixed the flex faucet by simply tightening a part on it which spared me the inconvenience and cost of having to go out to the store to buy a new one. Even though I was a first-time customer and it was a major holiday, Joe fixed the problem quickly and enabled me to have full use of my home's plumbing and that faucet again. I am very appreciative to him for what he did on July 4th, and he is now my preferred plumber.

Joe made himself available the next day and called when he was on the way to do the work.  Joe was polite and professional.  He worked diligently and creatively to get the old faucet out from a tight space.  He installed the new unit as well as new shut-off valves.  Without prior notification I asked him if he wanted to do more work in my garage.  He drove to a nearby plumbing supply place to get some additional materials, came back and installed the garage shut-off valves to my satisfaction.  He tested all his work, did a pro-bono sink recaulking for me and cleaned up after himself.  My wife and I were quite pleased with everything.  Pricing was very fair.

Joe came out to investigate a possible slab leak. After spending about an hour looking for a problem he said we were fine. He was clean, prompt and professional. Joe has been my plumber for several years because he is fair and honest. After looking for the leak, he only charged me for his time.

A year later I can report that Joe was correct. We did not have a slab leak and we were OK

The plumber was unable to come as quickly as I had hoped, but once scheduled, arrived on time.  He gave me an Angie's list 
member discount, but only because I had read about it on the Angie's List review info.   His estimate for the work  to repair the leaky toilet was considerably higher than the plumber that I hired to do the repairs.   The reason for deciding on another plumber was based solely on getting the same work for less money.
I am not going to recommend this plumber to anyone based on the bad advice I took from him in calling the company that he is connected with to remediate the water damage.   I believe the company that Joe Romero recommended is not an honestly run company.  Their charges were outrageously high.

Joe did a fantastic job unclogging my toilet. He arrived on time, was friendly, and completed the job in about 15 minutes. My plummer of 30 years retired last year and I was concerned that I would have a difficult time finding someone I could trust. Problem solved! Joe with American's Plumbing is my new plummer.
