Golden Southland Services Inc

We had a ceiling fan that had been installed by another contractor.  It took the contractor about 2.5 hours to install the fan but he couldn't get the wiring connected correctly.  I signed up on Angie's List and found John from Golden Southland Services.  My husband left him a phone message and John promptly returned his phone call.  John came over the next day and had the fan working in about an hour!  John was great and is very personable and professional.  My husband is extremely happy that we finally found someone we could trust!!  A big bonus that John resides in the same city we do.

They also suggested baby-proofing ways that would work for me and brought the supplies I needed. They were always on time, were really friendly and were always willing to fix something or to finish their work. In addition to that he found a problem with an outlet in my bedroom so he went out and got a new outlet and replaced it. He showed me the old one and told me it could have caught fire; it was right behind my bed. This is the first time I have used somebody for this but I was relieved to find someone who was capable of doing the work and who showed up and accomplished a great deal. It was difficult for me because I did not realize how long certain things took; it was not my field. He was very fair and always provided me with an invoice and copies of receipts. He made sure to ask me if I wanted the items he suggested and told me which ones were returnable or exchangeable. The price seemed like a lot to me, but a lot of the times he brought a helper with him and did not charge me more for that. I think this company also does a lot of general construction also.
