I worked with a contractor and we found Lumber Baron to have the best prices and quality, especially for old growth redwood. Lumber
was well selected and delivered promptly. It is hard to find this quality redwood except at exorbitant prices. If you use the wood
unaltered in any way you may find some variance in width and thickness, but it is all attractive and they are quick to make any small
adjustments necessary. A pleasure to deal with and very knowledgeable.

I needed some weathered redwood for a project I was working on.  I gave Lumber Baron a call, told them what I needed, and it was ready to go when I arrived.   After a few days I needed a bit more, again, they were able to turn my order quickly.Max and team were great and they have every shade of redwood you could believe.

We called to inquire about pricing for redwood decking boards and spoke with the owner's son, Max, who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We immediately went in to view our options and found that the quality of wood was much better than all the other companies we had used in the past. We purchased the wood that day, which they also delivered same day, upon our request, and we haven't had any complications what-so-ever since we built the deck, almost two years ago. I also had some questions about our deck a couple months later, that didn't have anything to do with the wood we bought, and Max took the time to explain to me what my options were and what he would recommend and why. We will definitely use them again and will never use anyone else.

The Lumber Baron has 5 specific grades of Redwood. I've never seen another store that does.
