He is basically a one-man operation and usually works for other people. I am a handyman but I am unlicensed and he let me basically be his crew so that I could save a lot of money. We really liked what he did with our bathroom. He had so many ideas such as knocking out a closet from an adjoining room to make the master room bigger. All of his framing work was just perfect. He actually had to reframe a lot of the upstairs because the studs were 26 inches apart and the maximum allowed is 23 inches for the upstairs. We had a rotted out joist by the front door and he did all the fixing on that. He had to jack up the house to do repair work. The house was a total wreck, but we had a good time repairing it. He was easy to talk to and easy to work with. On the rare occasions that he made a mistake, he fixed it right away without charging additional for his time. His billing was easy to read through, and he was open to questions and negotiation. He and I basically worked together six days a week for three months and we never got into a fight. He was on time most of the time, but he would stay home once in a while when he was not doing contractor work.
