Services we offer
We are a full scale Landscape and Hardscape Design and Install Company. We bring your idea from design into fruition incorporating hardscaping if desired with projects like patios, decorative gravel, fire pits. We also do extensive landscaping; from creating a beautiful planting plan and incorporating native and non native plantings, fountains, fresh sod, installing drip or sprinkler irrigation as needed. We even provide high quality maintenance services so your investment will stay healthy for years to come! Rendered Stone did an absolutely fantastic job, from start to finish, building a patio for our backyard. In the ideation stage, they were detailed and thoughtful, walking us through various options and helping us understand the relative value of certain decisions. The outcome of those conversations led to a better, more cost-effective project plan. From there, they were extremely communicative about the timeline to complete the work and engaged us to make important decisions along the way. I can't say enough about how careful and focused they were on every detail, both in terms of design and functionality. Because of that, we have a beautiful patio with an effective drainage system that easily handled our massive rain storms this winter! Lastly, and most importantly to us, they were fun and easy to work with, a true pleasure. Highly recommend!

Our experience with Rendered Stone was excellent, from start to finish. We initially started our total backyard renovation with a different landscape architect. After becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the communication and design elements with that other firm we contacted Spyce and John at Rendered Stone. Thank goodness we did. They were able to pick up the existing designs and offered cost-effective and design tweaks that just made sense. Our backyard was almost entirely redone. Everything was smooth - they were on time every day and kept in close communication every step of the way. They came in exactly on budget and continued to find innovative ways to keep costs down. Overall it was such a pleasure to work with them and as a result we have a backyard we absolutely love. 5 stars for Rendered Stone.

They were great! I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted but explained the outcome I was hoping for and Rendered Stone offered up some ideas and gave me a sense of costs. Ultimately they gave us exactly what we were looking for and did a great job. They were professional, efficient, and great communicators. Highly recommend!

Rendered Stone has done two landscaping projects at my house, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The front of our house was drab and flat, with plants that weren't performing well. RS added boulders, a variety of plants and trees, an irrigation system, and mulch. A year into the project, their plantings have grown in to a full, beautiful California landscape that friends comment on.

Rendered Stone started with us in Spring 2022. We had been dropped by one medium sized company and were unhappy with the large company who was doing the landscaping before them. We are a 30 unit condominium complex in Alameda. It is a mid century building from the 60s and, given the age of the building, we are in constant update mode. When Rendered Stone started, we had just completed a mulching project to eliminate a lot of grass and watering in the outside areas - about 700 sq feet. We are still in the process of doing things step by step with the landscaping there, doing a lot ourselves, and are getting there. In the meantime, Rendered Stone has been wonderfully non-judgemental about regularly helping us keep things looking nice in all areas of the property, checking our irrigation and keeping track of the larger property needs. It has been a relief to be able to work with a smaller, yet professional company who can work with us as we improve our curb appeal as well our own enjoyment of where we live. We know they can do much more “all inclusive” projects, but for us we are getting the help and upkeep we need and are grateful to them for taking us on. I have no reservations in recommending Rendered Stone to others who are looking for a partner in improving their landscaping. Thanks for renewing our faith in a landscaping company!

We were able to install some really fun and cool plants on that first run, like the Cordyline, the Cousin Itt, and (I think this is your favorite) Kangaroo Paw! Those fuzzy flowers that really do look like that! Since then, it's been a lovely experience to be a part of the gardens continuing to grow, and we appreciate being able to steward your property and ensure its proper care."

John has a fantastic eye and works very hard to make everything perfect, and Spyce keeps on top of the details and makes sure things move along on schedule. They cleaned up after themselves and were delightful to have around. They did an amazing job on my patio and irrigation, and we're so happy with the results.
