Excellent repair of "vintage" sound system. --Checked and found a blown amplifier stage, multiple defective components were found and these were replaced and unit now works as it should. Additional steps were taken to help ensure reliability by verifying other components ensuring they were with spec and in a serviceable state. Main Lamps were also replaced. All old/ weak solder joints were re-done. All switches and potentiometers were cleaned and de-oxidized. Receiver was stress tested and passed inspection. A general inside out cleaning was done.
Wire Connections to speakers were replaced and new endings soldered on the ends of the wires to make for easy speaker connection. (Was only charged for the wires themselves.)
AR Stereo Speakers were checked out and found to be working. (Was not charged for this.)
You can trust Champlifier with your most prized sound system and you will not be disappointed. It will be checked out first and you will know exactly what can and cannot be fixed. ...And you will pay a fair price!
Hard to find a "category" for this place! Work was done by a highly professional audio engineer. Is patient, helpful, and willing to many answer questions from us "non-techies". Works on hifi stereo systems, power amplifiers, DJ equipment, speakers, and many other audio needs, --vintage and newer equipment.
