BURGE PEST CONTROL

We'd used Burge a handful of times annually, when the ants and spiders took over our home. This year, however, the ant infestation was particularly bad and I couldn't get them to call me back. We've moved on to another company and are pleased with our decision.

We would recommend them. We haven't had ants in 10 years and it's amazing. They are friendly and they come out right away. They use natural products and we don't need to notice them, and it really works. We will definitely continue to use them in the future.

They were to come out three times, and they came out twice. I was supposed to call them the third time, but they never let me know with any follow up calls. I did not feel like they were as professional as they should of been.

I don't think it's worth it. For $45/month, I can kill my own snails. The house has been treated for termites and this is guaranteed for 5 years.They contacted us once prior to a visit and then never again (hence the low mark for professionalism). We did not have the time or energy to nag them about this. Maybe they would have gotten better about contacting us before each visit if I'd nagged them, but that's not my job--I have enough to do. When they service visits happened, the guy would be at the house for maybe 10 minutes. (They never missed leaving me a note to tell me they'd been here!) When I did ask about dealing with possible mice in our roof they didn't want to do it--even though their advertisement says they do deal with rodents. Needless to say, I canceled the contract at the end of the year. Bottom line: don't bother with these people. If I have a problem in the future I will go with another company--one that has a more holistic approach--integrated pest management.

I was amazed at how quickly it was taken care of. I left a message explaining what we needed relatively late on a Friday afternoon. They called me back at 8:30 Monday and the job was done before noon that same day. They also guarantee their work for the year. If the yellow jackets come back in 2009, they'll come back to re-spray free of charge.

We've been fighting ants since we moved in almost five years ago. We finally caved in and called an exterminator, and boy am I glad we did. Burge Pest Control is great. They came on the day I requested, did the job quickly, explained how it worked, and didn't charge an arm and a leg. What impressed me most is that it started to rain lightly right as the exterminator was finishing up, and he explained that the spray needed to dry to work effectively. I thought, "Oh well, you can't control the weather. I'll probably have to call again in a couple weeks." I was pleasantly surprised when I came home the next evening (after a dry day) to find that Burge had resprayed the perimeter of my house without me having to ask. Great customer service! The gross part is that we're finding tons of dead ants everywhere, but that means it's working, and I couldn't be happier.

Great. Super friendly, very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I can't imagine anyone being doing a better job than him. He spent quite a while on the phone with me explaining everything involved. Also uses top of the line, environmentally friendly product.
