Roof had been totally replaced in 1996, by another roofer in Alameda. After a few years we noticed leakage signs in the ceilings and asked the original roofer to fix it. After $800, we got about 100 pounds of tar poured over parts of the roof (roof is flat). Roof was leak free for another year and then I tried to find and fix the leaks. After a few more years of toying with the vendor I called Advanced Roofing to take a look at the roof. Two guys came out and walked/examined the entire flat roof and presented a plan of action to secure the house, yet not all of the existing roof was deemed to be replaced at this time. They went through their itemized proposal, high lighting how the job would be done, types of materials used, time for the job, provided an 18 month warranty on the roof for ANY problems and provided references.
The job took 2 days to complete and then the three of us walked around the roof to judge the job. I had never seen a flat roof job like this before (have owned one other flat roofed house), it looked like it would with stand any kind of weather for decades (bullet proof). All materials were removed for the premises, excellent materials were applied, the workers were professional and the clean-up was spotless.
