VANT'S ALARMS HAVE NEVER BEEN SET OFF FOR NO APPARENT REASON. WHEN THEY HAVE GONE OFF IT IS BECAUSE WE OPENED A DOOR OR WINDOW WITHOUT REALIZING THE ALARMS WERE ACTIVATED, AND WE PROMPTLY RECEIVED THE PHONE CALL CHECKING ON IF IT WAS A REAL EMERGENCY (A CODE WORD PROVIDED LETS THEM KNOW IT IS NOT A REAL EMERGENCY). AT $22.00 PER MONTH, I CONSIDER IT MONEY WELL SPENT. THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THAT THE WINDOW ALARMS CAN BECOME DISLODGED FAIRLY EASILY, AND HAVE TO BE RE-ATTACHED.
