Stuart Rose did an excellent job on what could have been a very disruptive project. The old furnace in our basement had to be disassembled and removed. The crew did it quickly and neatly disposed of everything. The new unit was installed and running perfectly just before the cold weather set in.

I am a commercial/residential property manager, and Stuart Rose & Heating is by far one of the most responsive AC companies I have every had the pleasure to work with. Starting with Hillary who was so on top of our appointments, and explaining tech work, etc- even to getting the right number to call when tech was on their way (trust me, small detail but saves so much time). The service was in depth, quality service. Technician is not on a rush to get onto the next job- which is always the case with service calls. They are there to perform the work, and make sure that it is done correctly. I would highly recommend them and their team of professionals.

Danny from Stuart Rose arrived on time, was efficient and very nice. He was obviously good at his job and we are very pleased with the service. Our air filters were filthy from the fire and really needed to be changed. He showed me the old ones and compared them to the new ones. What a difference!

Tracy came out to do an estimate and was my point of contact throughout the experience. Mike and several different workers came out to demo the old and install the new. Mike and the guys were on time, professional and did a great and thourough job. Mike kept me informed and gave me options when the situation called for it. There was only one miscommunication between Tracy and the shop which was easily resolved with a phone call although it did add half a day to the job.

The technician was patient and resourceful - applying his experience with the older furnace technology to hunt down and eliminate the problem. Although the job required multiple visits, I was charged only one "truck fee" plus the cost of replacement parts.

I recently, like today, had a very bad experience with this company. I have
known Stuart Rose Heating and Air for over 30 years. Always had good
service etc. however that seems to be over. I have had a service
agreement with them for all these years and on Aug.6th they were here
for normal maintenance service. They checked the furnace and
thermostats and changed the filter. They did not go on the roof to check
the air conditioning unit which was always part of the service.. Now 6 weeks latter no cool air from unit.
If I want service I will need to pay for two men and wait 9 days. This
does not make sense to me. The lady representing the company on the phone was in my opinion very
unprofessional . Her answer to me was "we will take you off our list of customers". No one in charge, manger or owner was available and 30 plus years of loyalty met absolutely nothing. Not the same company I did
business with all those years. I would be very surprised if the owner or any of the managers contacted me to explain what happened.

"It is unfortunate you feel like you had a bad experience. While Stuart himself is pretty much retired, there are others in charge as myself (Tom) and would be more than glad to listen but you specifically asked for Stuart. Yes it is true, we would need two men to go onto your roof; your roof hatch is broken and since you have not had it repaired, we need two men for safety reasons to get onto your roof. We do not and will not put employees in harms way for any one. Also while we do have a small backlog, in no way would it take us 9 days to schedule a service call, not sure where this came from. I would be more than happy to discuss and make this right, but without endangering my men, if you wish to contact me. Best regards, Tom-Operations Manager"

This is a review retroactive to my Angie's List membership...I just wanted to give credit to a really good company that came out last year when my A/C went out. They came out immediately and told me a just needed an inexpensive little part (it was a fuse or something). I've been ripped off so many times by unscrupulous repair people and was so grateful for the honesty, responsiveness and professionalism.
