It was excellent.  I would highly recommend her as well as continue to use her in the future if we need to.  She helped us in selection, purchase and installation.  Her suggestions definitely improved project design.  She made sure the blind was installed perfectly for a kitchen window.  She was very pleasant and professional to work with.

We decided to paint the entire inteiror of our home, except for the kitchen. After carefully evaluating various paint contractors, we decided to go with J and B Painting, Inc. in Agoura Hills and we are extremely delighted that we selected them. We were having problems selecting colros inasmuch as the lighting in our home is unusually variable in different rooms and we have an open floor plan. Steve Berger, our paint contractor, recommended that we consult with Joanne MacCallum of JM Design. We had never worked with an interior designer before and really appreciated her infinite patience and being so very down-to-earth. On her first visit, Mrs. MacCallum spent several hours carefully evaluating the lighting and the fabrics of the pieces of furniture we wanted to be sure would look the greatest with the paint colors and carpeting. She never tried to force her opinion on us but worked with our perferences to select the correct colors. She spoke with Steve several times about the colors and he put color samples on the walls in different rooms for her to return and evaluate with us. She put everything in writing for both Steve and us. She also recommended a place for carpeting and arranged for us to meet with her at the store where we selected both commercial carpeting for our home office and residential carpeting for most of our home. Before final selection of the carpeting, Mrs. MacCallum came to our home to ensure that the carpeting coordinated with the the paint colors and fabrics we had. We were extremely pleased with her services and we will certainly use her again when we remodel our kitchen.
