It was refreshing to have work done on the home by a group of professionals that place a high regard for customer satisfaction. I shopped around with five different AC/Heating companies before deciding to go with All Four Seasons (AFS). Our aging rooftop package unit was replaced with a 3-ton, 16 seer unit with new thermostat (went with 16 seer for the two-stage heating/cooling, greater comfort and efficiency). AFS?s quote was on the higher-end of the bell curve, but it was well worth it because you get a lot in return.
Ethan provided the estimate and he was the only estimator who thoroughly reviewed our current AC/furnace system. Not only did Ethan check the old package unit on the roof, but he also looked at all the registers and return. Other estimators only looked at the rooftop unit and thermostat. There was also one who didn?t even bother to look at anything at all. Ethan was very thorough, answered all my questions and explained how the crane would be used to remove the old unit and lift the new one up to the roof. Use of the crane was one of my biggest concerns.
Installation went very well, including the crane lift. The techs are all nice, very professional and considerate. There was an issue with the thermostat wiring (not AFS?s fault) that required the installation of a different thermostat than the one originally quoted. Ethan went to great lengths to get the other thermostat from a supplier 20+ miles away so it could be installed the same day.
Post-installation inspection went just as smooth. AFS obtained the necessary city permits before starting the job, coordinated the final inspection visit with the city and supplied copies of all paperwork. We passed with flying colors.
Working with Cat was a great pleasure. Not only is she a true professional, but she exhibits terrific communication skills. Within minutes of sending Cat an email, in comes her response. Ethan said that he would help us with obtaining manufacturer rebates and Cat made the process so easy. Cat provided a detailed email with all the information I would need to submit the rebate. Everything I needed was there and I completed it in just 5 minutes. I never heard of a company help their customers with even filing rebates.

- No pressured sales talk - compared to his competitors, Ethan offers a price and then lets you decide. No call backs to see where you are at in your decision (and the price is competitive)
- knowledgeable - simply put he knows his stuff
- customer service - he came to my house 3 times before he installed. I had issues with asbestos abatement and he was key to resolving it.
When I did choose him, he had sufficient resources to do the job on time and within budget. On top of the HVAC he also installed a new dryer vent. It was a little tricky but Ethan did a great job on this as well. One year later I had what I thought was a perceived issue with the unit (it was not), called up Ethan?s office at 4pm and he was at my house by 6pm, problem solved. He stands
by his work. I would highly recommend Ethan and his company for your HVAC needs. He know his stuff , is very

2. Technician restarted the unit. The 24v transformer then exploded and burned.
3. Technician replaced the relay and transformer.
4. Technician tried to locate where the short was coming from.
5. Technician concluded that the low voltage wire is faulty and causing the short. I was billed for $225.00. On top of the $69 I paid for the troubleshoot fee thru Angies List.
6. Technician concluded that the low voltage cable should be replaced by owner.
7. Technician left after I paid with my credit card.
8. Next morning, I reconnected the old low voltage wires that the technician left hanging on both ends.
First, I had to find the shorted wires.
Using a multi-tester, I was able to eliminate the white and green wires to be shorted.
I went to the internet to look at the wiring instructions. Both for the ac/heater and the thermostat module. It was not hard because they were all color-coded.
I did not replace the low voltage wire as mentioned on the Description of Work Completed. There was a spare wire inside the existing 5-wire cable that I was able to use and replace one of the shorted wires.
I also made sure that the junction boxes are water-resistant by replacing the gasket and wrapping it with electric tape.
The unit started to work just by using the existing low voltage cable. Both heater and a/c are working now.

It was the third estimate we received to have our HVAC system replaced. All four seasons gave us the best price and INCLUDED duct replacement, vent replacement, enlargement of family room and master bedroom vents, installed new condensation and refrigeration lines WHEN THE OTHER ESTIMATES DID NOT INCLUDE. They even included the city permits something the other estimates didn't mention.
For the installation: what can I say. The crew showed up on time were very professional and courteous and did the complete removal and installation in two days.
The installation was done during the record breaking heat wave and the installation crew didn't miss a beat, It had to have been 140 degrees in the attic and these guys worked like it was nothing. I was truly amazed how these guys worked right through the heat and never complained.
My wife and I we are very happy with the installation and the system works great!
