Micheal was extremely knowledgeable, he shot me straight turns out solar was not for my house. I worked with several other companies and they just tried get the sale. Without looking how it would perform on my house. The whole thing was done remote he shared his screen and we looked at the area around my house. Turns out that since my house is in a bad position and I am surrounded by two story house (I own a single Story) that I would not get good sunlight. I would for sure go with them when the tech improves and its capable of generating more power. Trust this company,

Its going downhill fast! The company does not seem to know how to meet HOA requirements. We have been denied twice (and our Board has always been easy and clear to deal with on our other projects). Firstly, our project manager was changed 2 days after we signed the contract. I cant say if it is the engineers or project manager that is submitting incomplete info to the Board, but as a homeowner I know if I follow the architectural guidelines and give the Board complete accurate information.. all goes well. Sunlux has been lax and incomplete causing unnecessary delays. We are not approved yet!. ..We submitted 8/7/19.... and have received two denials with exactly what needs to be met in order to be approved. When questioned... Sunlux blames the board and passes the buck. I now am deeply involved as to what they sent over and why it was sent incomplete so the process isn't entirely a failure. One example is their engineer stated that the AC cut off had to be in a specific location due to the Fire Code. The Board asked for a copy of that Code and now Sunlux is complaining that they want more info!!! Of course they want to look at it if it is different from what they know to be true. they asked for a new application.. it was never included...dumb! Will update this review when and if we proceed. One more comment... the salesman, Mark T. asked for our utility bill at our first meeting to see how much savings we would have from solar..... He later told me he used it to show other potential clients (without permission, or blocking off my name and address). This breaches confidentiality in my book.....one of the potential clients knew me by chance...….I did not find that professional on his part at all. Am I angry? Yes. The salesman also said he would be involved and of course he has not been just playing the blame game. Another discussion to follow.

Sunlux installed my system in the middle of last year, and have been online since last October. Decided to go with a roof mounted system, and so far we are very pleased with the results. I appreciate how Sunlux has a very strong customer service team that is proactive to check on how things are going or answer any questions. The new software update is great! I like how the continue to update the main software. great company!

Sunlux did an excellent job. First rate materials, workmanship, and price was very competitive. Always responsive and helpful. Just a pleasure to do business with them. Highly recommended.

After months of research, my husband and I finally installed solar panels on our home. We had a fantastic experience with Sunlux. After putting the sales agent through his paces with my many questions about the materials, the esthetics and the process, he passed with flying colors. He was very patient and informative. He was the only one (of many) who took the time to make sure I understood how each component worked with the system. The system we purchased was designed for our needs and energy usage not just the square footage of our home. The engineers were very helpful with designing multiple options for the panel placement. I certainly didn't make things easy for them. Each person I interacted with was helpful and professional. The installation took one day. A team of five very polite men worked together efficiently and neatly. They cleaned up perfectly before leaving. The city inspection followed a week later. The inspector was very impressed with the quality of the installation. At that visit, one man from Sunlux took care of all the painting of conduit to match our siding, roof and trim colors. They actually color matched all the paint! The system is up and running. I have an app on my phone that keeps track of the energy production. It was all seamless. I highly recommend Sunlux and our sales agent, Mark Trujillo. Mark has stayed in touch throughout the entire process to make sure I was happy with the progress and final result. One final note. Sunlux was less expensive, provided a better warranty, uses high quality panels and has excellent customer service from start to finish. If you're interested in solar panels, make sure you do your research. I'm glad I did mine!

Sunlux has been great to work with on my solar install. I found them to be very competitive and did a great job. The panels have been installed for about a year with flawless performance. I am currently having issues with pigeons hanging out under the panels and reached out to Sunlux. There was a quick response to assist me in arranging to have a critter guard installed. I give them my highest recommendation and thanks.

Great company and great services. They worked with me through the entire project and made sure all my questions were answered. My electric company attempted to slow the process but Sun Lux keep me on pace and now I’m on solar and looking to enjoy a better electric bill. Would recommend this company to family and friends

Wanted to share my experience with Sunlux.. These guys are fantastic! I met with 4 other Solar companies and finally chose these guys. Not only did they install 30 Solar panels, but they also built us a covered patio to put them on. Eveything came out great, all of the staff and I dealt with were friendly and professional. Their follow up after the install has been great, and their prices are very competitive as well. Thanks Ben Carton, Guillermo, Aaron and the rest of the Sunlux team for a wonderful experience. SunLux did a great job from start to finish. They showed up on time and finished the majority of the installation in one day. They handled everything including acquiring the proper permits, scheduling permit inspections and teaching me about the equipment. The installers broke two roof tiles during the installation. They let me know that they were broken and would return with new ones. In the meantime, They sealed the area to prevent leaks. It rained for the next four days and no leaks. Good job. I highly recommend SunLux.

Please do your solar system research homework. I spent almost 8 years researching and interviewing prospective solar installers and finally settled on Sunlux Energy Inc. My installation was one of the first to use both solar and battery systems. This install was tough going at first, however, Sunlux provided on-going support throughout the entire process. In fact, Sunlux continues to provide great support to this day. My first yearly bill indicated that SCE owed me. Wow! Now that's a smoking solar/battery system. Kudos to Sunlux Energy Inc.

After being harassed by a couple other companies (not naming names), we did some more research and SunLux was a breath of fresh air. Everyone from the sales rep to the project manager to the installers have been so professional, communicative and a pleasure to work with. The installation was completed way sooner than I imagined, like a crew of beyond efficient (and clean) ninjas. Our only issue, which is so minor and not on SunLux at all, was a missing in action inspector from the city to give the approval of instal which was quickly resolved by the project manager. Obviously the quality of the physical work is highly commended, but equally as is the quality of customer care. The cost seemed a bit high for me at first, but you get what you pay for. And other unnamed companies were a bit sketchy about the final final cost of everything "because things always come up", but there was full transparency in the agreed upon price and we weren't surprised by anything. Being first time home owners, this project seemed like it was going to be quite the ordeal. But unlike trying to get our Nest system to connect to the internet, this whole process was seamless and (honestly) too easy. Would not hesitate or skip a beat to recommend them to anyone.

I did a lot of research on solar companies for some time and I was please to see that SunLux was the right choice from the research I had done. I had both the roof and the solar system installed. They are A rated, have been upfront from the beginning and best of all they are guaranteeing my system, inverter, and MY roof (to not leak where they installed or altered) for 25 years. From the very start I was a little skeptical, but the salesperson who helped me was very honest and didn't pressure me at all. After the sales process, someone comes out and surveys your house then to the design/engineering team. Engineering made plans and sent them to me for approval. After I said yes, they had to get approved from city. After all was approved it was time for installation. Everything went better then I expected. The install was fast and clean. They are quick, there is no disruption to you or your family, if you blink you may miss them. Very easy to get in touch with. In fact It was so easy that I still question if they were even at my house! Lucky for them the roof and solar panels at the house is proof that they were there!

Great and Extremely Professional Work. SunLux was great. Were there issues with the install? Yes. Is it normal to have a hiccup here and there? Yes. What made it great though was the communication by the office and the installers. They were all very professional and courteous. Even when the city no show canceled on their second reschedule for inspection SunLux did everything they could to get me back on the inspectors’ schedule. I have already recommended them to five friends that are looking to have solar installed. Thank you for being professional, communicating, and accommodating.

no regrets. after sitting down with several companies we chose sunlux. sales rep was not pushy. explained the process and and how everything worked answered all our questions. installation crew were great. courteous, explained the install process. the installation was professional looking. very happy

After getting four estimates for solar panels we selected SunLux because of their customer service, quality name brand components and price. Our sales associate was honest, up front and worked with our needs and budget. Other companies wanted to install more panels than we needed, this would make our monthly payment for the panels more than our current electric bill without solar, defeating the reason for getting solar. Our sales associate worked out the numbers to come up with a system perfectly suited for our needs to zero out and produce more electricity than we need, but stay within our budget. In addition the components they use are name brand components with an excellent warranty. Other companies that we got estimates from used no name components with a lousy warranty period. The installers were quick, courteous and cleaned up after they were done. Another reason we went with Sunlux was they said we didn't need an electrical panel upgrade. Our panel is original to the house built in 1963. After the sight evaluation it was determined that it had the correct amp rating and had enough space to add the circuit breaker for the solar panel system. The other companies just said our panel is to old and must be upgraded without even looking at it. This would add an additional $3000. Also I wanted the electrical conduit run through the attic not on top of the roof making a cleaner looking installation. They said this is their standard practice to run it through the attic. Several other companies charged an extra $300 dollars to run the conduit through the attic. The experience we had with Sunlux was excellent, from estimates, financing, installation and customer service.

When I decided to go solar, I conducted an extensive research and got quoted by multiple companies. At the end, it came down to price, quality, but most importantly warranty. Sunlux provided me with the best warranty and the best price. No other competitor could beat their quote, while providing you the extensive warranty Sunlux did. My sales person, Adam Cunningham, was simply the best. He was so responsive and very attentive to everything I wanted. He thoroughly explained everything I needed to know in order to make an informed decision. Every time I had a concern he was prompt to respond to my calls and emails. His customer service was seriously off the charts. I would recommend working with Adam. He will make sure that everything that was promised is delivered. The only hiccup I encountered was with another representative because I complained about the installation of my skirting system, which I highly recommend for aesthetic purposes. It was poorly installed, but they took ownership of the problem and fixed it. Adam was able to be the mediator and had the problem resolved quickly. I highly recommend that you get everything in writing when it comes to installation, especially if you are asking for something really specific. It simply helps in case there are any issues along the way. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the service and the work that was performed.

From the time the SunLux workmen came to our home to install our solar panels, until the job was completed, the men worked every minute from the time they started until the job was finished. They were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing and they completed the job at the exact time they estimated. Which was the same day I would recommend SunLux for your solar installation company. Great! company, couldn't have had better service or price
