He last put together a cabinet that my husband wasn't able to assemble himself. The directections were in spanish but he was still able to put it together and install it in our hallway. He's good, reliable, reasonable, and does a great job.

I did have Roy Smith come out to do my handyman work. You had his name on Angie's list, but he wasn't signed up yet. I had his card ahead of time because I was going to call him for handyman work. He has done services for me 3-4 times. He has his own company, he works on water systems and then he does other stuff. He was on Angie's list, but he wasn't recommended because nobody had given a feedback. He is good, reasonable and honest. He is good at what he does, some guys can come in and do your handymen stuff but they don't have the insights to know what is wrong with the thing, but this guys knows it all. I had bought a cabinet to put together in my back hall, and my husband thought that he could do it and it was very confusing because the directs were in Spanish. This guy got it put together and it looked really good and it worked out for me. He is smart, he can figure things out, were a lot of guys couldn't, he saves whomever the way he can. I paid $35 for an hour and he did other things like he changed my water softener and worked on the reverse osmosis things. He calls you if he is 20 minutes late. He is a real good guy. I don't have anything negative to say about him.

I was unable to use him. I found out my RO unit needed to be replaced.

I called Doc after reading a previous report in Angies List. I have been wanting to find a reliable handiman for some time, but with no recommendations, was hesitant. Because of the previous positive report about Doc, and that problem was similar to mine (leaking water), I called Doc. He was very responsive, came over that afternoon, assessed the situation, gave me an estimate, and we set a date for removal of the heater. He performed his work efficiently and professionally, and made sure everything was cleaned up to my satisfaction. I will definitely call Doc my handiman; he is honest, good work, trustworthy, likeable, and reasonable cost.

Roy has provided the same degree of service several times this summer. He always gets the repairs completed immediately wit the correct tools and parts. He does not mark-up the Home Deport bill and he always has perfect advise about other things to watch for in my aging home. Roy knows and practices customer service -- every single time.
