Repairman from Plaza Appliance indicated repair to my malfunctioning refrigerator would not be cost effective so I opted to buy a new one from their store.  Went to look at a new one on 12/23/15 and they installed it the morning of 12/24/15.  The sales person was very pleasant to work with and quoted a price and installation costs that seemed fair. Their were some installation costs because in order to take out the old refrigerator and  install the new one the doors on both refrigerators had to be removed in order o get thru the front  and hallway doors. The cost also included the service charge from the repair visit on the previous day.  The sale was completed in very quick time so that between looking at the new refrigerator and signing the final sales bill it probably was less than an hour.  Very pleasant people to work with and very happy with the service.  The install was done quickly with no problems.  The install workers were very efficient.  The only thing that I did not get was a owner's manual since the manual in the refrigerator was for a 'quick' review.  However, that was not really a problem since when I went to the manufacturer's website to register the product I also printed out the full User's Manual.  I also go an opportunity to further review pictures of the refrigerator and how various things could be stored.

A very pleasant experience from repair visit to shopping to install to use.

The repair was very professional and honest in giving me a good estimate of what it would take to fix my refrigerator. The cost was too high for repair (although accurate) which meant I needed to purchase a new refrigerator.  He had indicated the compressor could stop working at anytime.  I then had the choice of taking a chance to see if it could operate for several more weeks while I shopped for a replacement or ask him to see if Plaza Appliance had one available.  He checked with the store and they said one was available.  I went into the store on that day,12/23/25, to look at the available replacement and ordered to be installed.  They installed it on the morning of the 24th.  It was a good decision on my part since when I walked into the kitchen early on the 24th the refrigerator had stopped working and there was water all over the floor (from ice cubes and frozen food).  Had to throw away everything in the refrigerator.

We bought a Whirlpool 25 cubic inch French Door refrigerator (not from Plaza) in 2012, that had a 1 year warranty. The icemaker stopped working after 2 years of service. Based on their Angie's list rating we called Plaza Appliance for service. They came out the day they said they would and after diagnosis said the whole icemaker had to be replaced and they would order one. It only took a few days before they called back and scheduled the repair. I rated the price as "fair" because it seemed like a fair price. I rated the quality as "N/A" because I don't know how long this icemaker will last as it only has a 90 day warranty so it's quality remains to be seen. Other than that I thought the service was excellent and I would use them again, hopefully not for a while though.

Repair guy provided cost for repairs and ultimately we decided to get a new dishwasher. Plaza matched price from national stores.

It took over a week for the parts to be installed and was sometimes difficult to get ahold of the technician for an update.

We have bought all of our new appliances aPlaza Appliances. They have had in stock what we wanted and we have had same day or next day delivery, which was very important when our stove stopped working on Christmas Eve. We picked out a new one, which was on sale. It was installed also a new microwave. We had similar service with the new washer and dryer.

Plaza Appliance worked appointment around 'our schedule' as it was a busy week for us! Came on time, found problem with ice maker, showed us the damaged part and replaced all in less than an hour. Our refrig is old but, except for the worn out ice maker, was working great. As the company that made the refrig is out of business we were afraid we would have to buy a new one We were very pleased that the serviceman came with matching parts and are happy to recommend Plaza Appliance as the 'go to place' for repairs. I called Plaza Appliance to trouble shoot and repair my refrigerator. I called about 9am and they had a service man out around 4pm that afternoon. He looked over the refrigerator and determined that the water was not dispensing because the line had frozen up. He showed me what to check to determine if and where the line was frozen. He explained several ways to fix this issue. I could shut the fridge off and let it thaw or I could use a hair dryer to thaw just the water line that is located in the door. He said that he would do it if we wanted but it could take anywhere between 15 minutes and 3 hours. He also said he could show me how so I could do it myself. I was happy with the service because of his promptness and honesty. I was a able to get in thawed in about 20 minuets.
