The job was done by Dan of PHD and his work is impeccable. He is very meticulous. All areas are covered with plastic and taped so that there are no over sprays or spills.
We are not associated with this company or personally know anyone who works for this company. We were just very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship, as well as the cost. We highly recommend Dan.
"If I recall correctly PHD was called out for the water heater not lighting. Diagnosis was hydro-generator not producing spark. Water heater would light and run with 1.5v battery (used to bypass hydro-generator). Hydro-generator was replaced once prior. Through conversation opted for a new tankless water heater as opposed to repairing again. The new water heater was installed, tested, and working when finished. That evening PHD was contacted and notified the water heater was not producing hot water. Through testing found that the pressure regulator at the propane tank had stuck. PHD disassembled the regulator cleaned and reassembled. Once again the water heater was working. My thought on the matter is the new water heater with its higher btu rating pushed the regulator a little farther than it had been in the past and then got stuck. There were no additional charges for going back out and working on the regulator."
