Miguel was very responsive to all concerns and questions we had. He would tell us when he would be here to work and if he couldn't make it, he called. All of the inpections were passed quickly and we never had to worry about any of the work getting accomplished.

Very personable.  Prompt, always responsive to phone calls.  Wants workmanship to be good, not satisfied with "just OK."  Doesn't always "catch" everything, but always corrected any mistakes.  Always cheerful, even when dealing with issues.

They were excellent. They provided a written bid and provided a schedule. They adhered to the schedule and finished the wall just as they said they would. They had to break the existing wall with hammers and had to haul it to the front drive by wheel barrow. The construction employees were very polite and extremely hard working. They finished demolishing the wall as they projected. They kept the worksite clean and all tools were stored away before they went home every day.

They constructed the wall measuring and leveling frequently. The workmanship is excellent. The crew worked efficiently and steadily. Management was very responsive and equally hard working. We were very pleased with the whole project. I will use them again in the future.

Only half of our backyard was fenced, and the kids kept escaping so I set out to find a contractor who would build one of those concrete block fences (wood wasn't an option due to termite problems) without charging me two arms and a leg. I got several estimates from different companies in the area where I always felt like I was haggling for a price (and I HATE haggling). MG Construction was a completely different experience. They came and measured and then went and came up with a WRITTEN estimate that even broke out city taxes and fees (I like licensed contractors and knowing that they are complying with all laws- makes me feel for confident that my project will be built to code).

Not only that, but the price was just as good as the other quotes I had gotten (I'm talking about the lower price that the and quot;other guysand quot; had eventually settled on after their initial high quote) without feeling like I was getting taken for a ride.They started construction a day earlier than scheduled (which was perfect for me), and before I was allowed to give them a deposit they had the footings dug and poured, and all the block sitting on my property. I watched the guys who built our neighbors fence, and I watched the MG Construction guys, and it was night and day the difference in quality and professionalism. Every wall was measured and leveled multiple times to make sure it was perfect.

They cleaned up all the lines and made it look great. Not only did they finish days ahead of schedule, but they meticulously cleaned not just our yard, but the vacant lot next door (in fact, they left that looking much better than it did before they came).I have worked in the construction industry before, and seen many different levels of quality and professionalism, and I will admit that I wasn't expecting to find much here in Yuma, but I was shocked by MG Construction. They not only met my expectations, but blew them out of the water. They are the only number I plan on calling for my other concrete projects when I get around to doing them. They are also a general contractor, and based on their quality with the masonry aspect of their business, if I need anything else done they are going to be the ones I call. I HIGHLY recommend them and will be using them myself again (hopefully) soon.
