My girlfriend and I had a very bad experience here a couple of days ago with Dr. Brandon Prince and we still can't get over what happened so I felt that I needed to write a review. We are both in our mid 20s and are doctorate level health care practitioners at YRMC. We brought our dog here because she had a rash and the next day she would not eat or drink, was very lethargic, and was experiencing urinary incontinence, which seemed to be getting worse. This was the only clinic open at the time so we had to come here. Once we arrived, in our screening questions with the technician, she asked if it was possible that our dog had gotten into marijuana. We said no we don’t have any in our apartment and haven’t had any visitors because of the quarantine. When Dr. Prince came in, he stated, “so it looks like your dog got into your weed.” He proceeded to tell us that these symptoms are classic marijuana toxicity. We told him again that this is not possible because that is not in our household. We informed him that we are both health care practitioners and understand the importance of sharing information like this if we thought it was a possibility, but he continued to say that’s what he thought was wrong with our dog. Typically, in a differential diagnosis you list the possible diagnoses, and when one isn't a possibility, other diagnoses are considered; but this was not what happened here today. We kept asking what else it could be and after some discussion he said it might be a UTI. They agreed to do a urine analysis, which was negative. Dr. Prince came back in and shared these results with us and told us that our dog must have gotten into some substance within our house which we had already told him wasn't a possibility. We keep a very clean apartment, neither one of us take any prescription medication, and our over the counter medication like Ibuprofen and Benadryl are both stowed away in a medicine cabinet that can’t be accessed by our dog. The good news is that our dog is getting better and whatever was wrong with her wasn’t lethal. I'm glad she's okay, but I am not satisfied with the care that was provided by Dr. Prince who seemed to be so sure of a diagnosis that was impossible of being true. I have honestly never experienced unprofessionalism to this degree and have never felt so unheard in any healthcare setting before. I would never talk to any patient or other practitioner in such a disrespectful manner and with such disregard for what they have told me during an evaluation. I would not recommend this facility to anyone who wants to be listened to and who wants to feel that the vet is doing the best job to diagnosis what is going on with their animal rather making false accusations. I almost feel like I was charged $248 to be insulted for an hour. As she began to feel better she ate her dog food and her rash got worse again and she was having increased urinary incontinence. This led us to conclude she has an allergy to her dog food, which wasn't asked about once during our visit here. I'm glad we finally figured out what was actually wrong with our dog! It's too bad the vet didn't ask about, or even look at the rash, or inquire about our dog's diet to come to this conclusion as well.

2018 on first visit upon the new owners i was Very impressed with Dr. Brandon! update : 5/4/2020 i never got to see Dr Brandon again, although i booked my appointments specifically with him several times after. , have been in several times paid huge amounts of $$ with no answers. eventually had to go to another vet and got great treatment.. it seems to me that that it is all about the $$ with these people. the compassion is no longer there in my opinion. even the receptionist had a poor attitude when i called concerning my elderly fur baby.AKA my best friend. after going to Foothills vet for over 20+ years my time with them is over.

There were a lot of medications for that dog. We have established rapport with them. They're fine. They're very knowledgeable with animals.

My boxer had an infection in his lip that wouldn't go away on it's own. I called around to a few places to see who had the time. The lady on the phone was very sweet, and concerned about getting him in as quickly as possible. We made an appointment and took him in within 24 hours. They were quick to see him and gave us some antibiotics, which cleared it up in a few days.

The doctor and all the support staff were very considerate and understanding. I still weep that it had to be done, but the whole process could not have been handled with more caring and love. We are very grateful for their excellent services.

They are great veterinarians. My dog had gone out of the yard and we got her only after two weeks but when we got her it looked like she had got temper and was dying. So they really couldn't do anything for her but their care, attention and how quickly they got us in. The cost was very reasonable and didn't charge for one of the X-rays. We were very pleased with their service and also have been very pleased with their whole experience.

My dog has a serious heart problem that Dr. Jerri diagnosed a year ago. I noticed a change in my dog's breathing so I made an appointment for a check up. We took her in, she was seen on time. Blood work done and medication change was made. I have a follow up visit planned in two weeks. This is a joint effort between Dr. Jerri and I to give my dog the best life we can. The visit was pretty extensive but I was only charged for a limited exam and the blood work.
