DIREC SAT TV

I had the Satellite installed and I was never informed about the fact that I had no local channels. I paid somewhere around $300.00 for my cable boxes that I "needed"... I didn't need them, but at least I owned them, right? WRONG!!!!!! They attempted to get me some channels from California, so I could at least watch, FOX, (come on already...no American IDOL, What's wrong with these people?) It never happened. I proceeded, after getting the run around for 2 months (30 day guarantee), to cancel my service. BIG MISTAKE! I was over 30 days past the 30 day guarantee, how convenient for them. They did absolutely NOTHING for me, and they sucked another $400.00 approx. out of my bank account to cover the early termination fee. Remember those boxes I paid for? They took them back, claimed I was only renting them. What????? Are you kidding me??? We tried everything from calling Direct TV's head office to contacting the DTV presidential office and nothing! Bottom line, unless you want to potentially get sucked out of $700.00 and pushed to the edge of sanity...just save yourself the aggravation and go with TIME WARNER! I haven't had to deal with anything like this before or since. People....Save yourself the stress...heed my warning...or they'll laugh in your face too.
