Davin S Rich Company relieved all apprehension regarding finding a trustworthy, reputable roofing specialist to deal with years of deteriorating, patched flat roof. Upon initial quote, explained required services materials, benefits they could provide. Vendor met all target projections, timelines. Provided pics of progress from start to finish. It turned out to be a bigger job than anticipated. I was kept updated at all times, complete with pictures, on what needed replacing which ended up being the entire roof with new plywood and some of the 2 x 4s were repaired or replaced. The crew was excellent, very fun but more importantly professional, answered all questions I had while on site. Davin was very generous since there was a lot more work than anticipated, he was very patient with us. Definitely A1, top notch team, company!!

HONEST and they do great work. As a snowbird you never know who to trust. I had 2 bids on my SMALL roof repair completed. The first bid was from Lines and Lundgreen the total was 3500.00. The second bid was from Davin S. Rich for 1500.00. I didn’t need a third bid because I already knew I had found an honest person in Davin. The work was completed ahead of schedule and they cleaned up perfectly. If you are a snowbird and are looking for someone honest search no further. Give them a call I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Davin was so great to work with and very responsive. He was able to accommodate our request for a quick repair to our patio roof. His crew arrived promptly, were very courteous, and cleaned up their work area each day. The work was completed in 2 days and was a quality job. In addition to the patio roof repair, they also replaced some broken roof tiles and performed a full roof inspection with a recommendation for future work. Excellent! DSR is a very professional company from Davin who is the owner to his workers. When Davin came to give us an estimate, he explained in detail what exactly they would have to do. We had never been up on the roof so we had no idea what condition it was in. It turns out when the house was built 12 years ago, the roofer that put the roof on never cleaned up the debris and nails and took a shortcut on some of the installation. We did not have any leaks but because of the age of our house, we thought we better have it checked out and so glad we did! DSR came and repaired what needed to be done correctly and cleaned up all the debris left behind. Needless to say, our roof looks like new! Highly recommend DSR!

I've been disappointed by two other roofers within the last two years. But, Davin is the most professional roofer I've done business with. Quick to get you an estimate, which is very reasonable. He came out Friday to inspect the roof and found where the air conditioning people had left holes in the roof when they installed my new air-conditioning. He squeezed me in on Monday because we were threatened with rain and he said for sure the roof would leak from the holes Finished up that day. Took before and after pictures for me It rained Tuesday.

We had difficulties in establishing a start date on the project, after paying 50% down it took over a month to establish a start window. To be honest we then complicate it by swapping the start time with a neighbor who had a greater need to get their roofing job done. Once the work did start it went rapidly, the workers were professional, explained the process and did a very good job. They had to move my Direct TV antenna but got it back to the original location and I did not have to have it realigned. The roof coating which was 3 layers and the patio roof rebuild took 5 days. They also repaired some roof vents and puddled the scuppers for better drainage. We are considering a solar panel installation and Davin said he would like to come out and check the roof afterwards to make sure they seal all connections and roof penetrations adequately.

Fair price and good communication.

We had contacted a long time roofing company in Yuma about a question re: repair of an area of the roof. Apparently someone came and looked at it as we received an email estimate and required full payment up front before they would start. We  asked for someone to come out and explain what they were going to do but no one came nor was there any contact. We called Davin Rich Roofing. Davin came soon after and looked over the roof and fold us we should have more done but didn't push it. We opted for the full job without pressure. The other company didn't  give us any options. Anyway, the next week the work was started and completed by two very courteous young men. Due to the heat they couldn't work very long in a day but they left the area clean every day. Once completed Davin came and checked the work. We are very pleased with the way it was done as we've not had good experiences with companies in Yuma. He answered all of our questions before even  starting the work. Some of our neighbors have had similar work done but none as neat in appearance as ours. We will recommend them to anyone.

The work was to be started within a few days after my agreeing to the estimate but high winds caused a delay of several days. No problem. The lead man of the two man crew came to my door about 6 AM on 5/9/14 (I was hoping it would start early before the heat of the day) to advise me they would start the job. They swept and washed the roof then started to apply the coating membrane and liquid after the roof dried. They worked throughout the day then notified me they would return Saturday morning to continue the application. They thought the work would be completed by 1 PM but about that time notified me they would be back Monday morning to work about an hour to complete the job. After the job was completed on Monday they showed me pictures of the roof's coating. It appeared to be a very extensive covering the roof. I really appreciated the crew's work and dedication having to work in a very hot environment, Thee coating is expected to last 7 to 10 years or more. It may have to have a recoating in about 7 years but that will be determined after an inspection of the roof at that time. All work was done on time. It is a pleasure to work with the DSR Roofing and Protective Coatings company. I can depend on what will be done and when it will be done They sent me emails on when to expect work to start. If I had a question on any aspect of the work I sent an email and a reply would come back within an hour. Payment was super easy - the best I have ever experienced in local work. After the job was complete they sent me an invoice email with the option to pay thru PayPal (if your do not have this for credit charges you should get it - at no cost to the user - since it makes payment super easy). I could use PayPal or send a check . I paid the bill right thru the email using the PayPal option and the job was complete. The payment took about a minute and a copy of the paid invoice came back via the email. I would recommend the DSR Roofing and Protective Coatings company to anyone needing quality work.
