C and B Contractors

I was a little concerned at first because the proposal submitted was not very specific.  However, because the owner was highly recommended I worked with him to improve the proposal so that it detailed exactly what was going to be done.  My wife was most anxious that the job be done quickly and not be allowed to drag on - before signing the contract she obtained a committment that someone would be here working every day or we would be told why not!  Work began on the day promised and continued on steadily to completion.  There were some occasions when workers were not present on a particular day but we were kept informed of the stiuation.  Without fail this contractor answered his phone when I called - he always gave me straight answers to questions.  His memory is impressive.  He listened to what my wife and I had to say and he remembered - as the work progressed we could see our requests accomplished.  He stopped by our home frequently throughout the construction period and discussed the job with us.  The subcontractors used were impressive as well.  They were prompt, hard working and highly skilled.  In addition, they were honest - they were working in an occupied home yet not a single thing was missing.  They checked with us whenever there were choices to be made.  Though we changed some of the work required there was no charge for the changes.  The remodeling turned out just great - we are really pleased with everything.  Considering some of the stories we have heard of other remodels we feel blessed to have had this contractor.
