Auto Service
$1,500
I got it back on Wednesday and had to take it back on Friday where they
proceeded to insult my husband stating that the AC did not fluctuate
later determining that it in fact did need a part.
They failed to
tell my grandma who was paying for the service that they airbags were
necessary, without them I cannot put my lift on for my scooter - thus
making the van worthless to me.
They are refusing to fix the check engine light  stating that its not important even tho the van burns gas lit crazy... Nice to know they don't care it cost me over $400 a month in gas... So no once I get it out of there I will never be back!
2 Years ago I went there when the van started breaking down and was told "Oh well let it strand you and then have it towed to my shop we will work you a deal then." I am sorry but who in their right mind tells a handicapped lady to let the car die first?
1.
Check Alternator ? On 7/3 Van died after getting gas. Got a jump
and went home. Shut it off and restarted fine 2 times. We went to O?rilley?s to
have the battery tested. They said it was working fine. We sat in parking lot
for maybe 10 minutes. Went to leave and the dashboard lights/stereo went on and
off and dimmed. O?Rilley?s Tech came to check the alternator and battery again
and said the alternator was bad. Elias took it back yesterday, they tested it and
said it works fine
a.
Please Re-test to make sure it is in proper working order. The
Alternator usually goes out yearly.
2.
Power Steering Pump ? Completely dead ? Leaking
all over ? I don?t know why but we have to put a new on in on average every 2
years.
3.
The Door locks are still not working properly.
Sometimes they will lock and unlock properly but usually they don?t. Elias has
to change the fuse for the doors on average every 3 months.

I feel unsafe if we get in an accident
passengers might not be able to get out.
b.      The driver?s side back door /
sliding door does not work properly something is loose or off the track I don?t
know but I do know that I will have a van full of small children and the doors
need to be working properly.
4.
AC Fluctuates when accelerating, it blows air
out the top vents (by windshield) instead of where it should be.  May need AC Recharge? Seems fine but I don?t
know.
5.
Passenger side window does not roll down.
6.
Starter may be bad. A friend came over to look at it on the 5th
and determined it to be bad. Since the 3rd and the incident at the
gas station the van does not start without being jumped.
7.
Rear air bags don?t hold air.
8.
Since June 24th there has been a strong gas odor in the vehicle off and
on. I am afraid there may be a gas leak. It doesn?t appear to burn gas faster
than before 6/24 but I am not sure. At times it does? When there is the gas
smell.  As a result I am afraid the van
may be hazardous.
9.
The check Engine light has been on for about 2
years. It does burn more gas now than it used to when I got it in 2006.
I need a van but cannot afford to replace this one. However
since my grandma is paying for whatever needs fixing. I don?t want it fixed if it is not worth fixing.
I will just have to figure something out.
I currently need to transport 5 kids and there is another on the way.
But safety is fist. Grandma said you would run diagnostics and be able to
determine if it?s worth fixing for me.  PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT I AM
DISABLED AND THERE IS USUALLY A LIFT AND A SCOOTER ON THE VAN. This has
been taken off and put on my husband?s truck however my Husbands truck is not
ideal transportation since it can only hold 3 kids and it is lifted so it?s
very difficult for me to get into.
Thank you for your time and any help you are able to
provide.
